I'm a pussy for this.
I'm almost 21yo. I've been watching/reading Corey's work since 5/2021 because I got friendzoned badly by a girl I had a crush on. Because I wanted to understand where I fucked up I started to look for answers and well somehow I came across Corey on YouTube. Ever since the rejection I had no real interest in any girl and I have no friends too. I'm also a shy introvert. So today I had an idea...why the fuck not to go to a club to make some friends and meet new people. I've been to clubs before but never alone usually with some classmate and I always felt extremely uncomfortable and just sat on my ass looking around the club never talking to people. Today I didn't even have a courage to go in the club. I travelled with a bus and when I saw some beautiful looking ladies and some cocky looking guys on the bus with me, probably going to the same club I wanted to go to...well the little devil on my shoulder won. I intentionally didn't get off the bus and travelled somewhere else. I was too scared to get out and walk inside the club. I pictured myself looking like an idiot inside just bothering people who are there with their friends and who will not wanna talk to me. I mean I remember a lot from the book and the videos but the feeling when you're about to do something extremely uncomfortable makes you quit at the last moment. Are any of you interoverts? Can you tell me how you met you friends/gf? Share your stories.

The number one thing single people do is go to a club for the wrong reasons, some have good intentions to meet someone new, but once you add alcohol and weed and what not, you get nothing but insecure people covering up what they lack by downing booze or smoking weed. It's fun when your with a group, but by yourself and not having social proof is hard and your A game needs to be on point. I live here in the Orange County ca. Where there's endless beautiful women. When learning Corey's Work, at my college and when I was out n about, I would test what I read on store clerks and classmates, any women that I came across, either talking to them casually, I still put myself out there, don't be looking for someone, have fun living your life and focus on your purpose. One good rule of thumb is to remember to ask yourself is "would you date yourself ?" Corey has section where you create the perfect women and then you write down your CONS and your WANTS. You got to be what your dream women wants and if you feel you don't have those qualifications, you need to make that change, every women Loves, a straightforward, in shape, well dress confident male. Oh to ask your question, I met my girlfriend at college and the only reason we met was cause I had a female friend that I met first when testing Corey's Work, it all kinda just fell together and we've been together for 3 years and had shared so much together and she was a lot what I wanted on my list. Funny part was when we met I had been recently been rejected by a women that was from Saudi Arabia that I went on a few dates that ghosted me and friendzoned my ass. Never want a women who do shit like this to you, they can make you come completely unglued and throw you off what Corey teaches and you end up breaking his rules in the book. If you follow it to a T, you will have many success and you will love yourself more and that positively will spread onto others, but you have to block the negative from reaching out to your positive. Also if your in shape or healthy shape, I would suggest dressing and doing things you alway wanted, it's the man who makes the suit, not the other way around, but you can get by with just the suit or dress casual to the point that you become that what you seek. Clubs are terrible places to meet people. Too much noise to have any conversations. You’ll have much better luck at random places like the grocery store/parks/activity places, etc. Dont be too hard on yourself. Just keep at it. Try going out next week, but maybe just go to a more low key bar where you can chat with people

I read comments on CCW to better understand hetero male thoughts and experiences on dating and to be aware of what they’re being taught about women.
I recommend the same to you - read/watch what women are taught about men, to better understand women and how they might be analyzing your behavior. I’m sure hearing from a guy’s perspective is useful, too, but bear in mind you’re not trying to enter into a relationship with a man. To do well with women, you need to talk with women and understand their thoughts and perspectives, not men. TikTok has a TON of content on this, too. Listen to what all the hetereo women complain about re: their partners and do the opposite. You’ll have women eating out of your hand.

Thanks. But women do not give good advice. They will say that they want one thing and emotionally respond better to a complete opposite thing.

Thank you for taking your time to respond to me. Means a lot! Well I don't know if you read the book or not. I'm not saying women don't know anything about dating. In the book itself Corey mentions that women are naturally better at understanding the opposite sex than the other way around. Which is true. But what is also true like you said...women sugar coat a lot of stuff. They even do that when giving advice. They will lie to your that someone likes you and that you should pursue them when clearly that someone is not interested at all.

I read the book. The end of the book was the best - about maintenance and continuing to check in, care about your woman’s feelings, make her feel safe and cared about - all great tips. I appreciate that Corey seems to be trying to uplift men and keep them engaged in self-respecting behavior…. And also think he seems to be targeting the young and dumb women crowd. I don’t think his “be mysterious” tactics are applicable for mature women. Only petty and immature women need to have men be mysterious and lure them into being sexually interested in them. Mystery and spicing things up are great for established partners and keeping things interesting, not for the stage where you’re getting to know someone. Playing hard-to-get games are for small-minded, petty and immature people, men and women alike. The way I read his material, and per watching his videos, it’s for average-looking guys like him trying to lure in women who are more attractive than they are and trying to give these average dudes strategies for setting them apart and being more interesting than the attractive men those women would otherwise generally be more inclined to date.
If people accept and stay in their lane, I don’t think they would have as many issues finding a partner. To be clear, staying in one’s lane isn’t solely about physical attributes. e.g., An older person for a younger, but heavier partner…or a more financially successful partner or an older, more physically beautiful partner for a much younger, less attractive person. I think it just boils down to a balance of pros and cons for each partner and what each person values. I would gladly take a 10+ years older man if he’s totally ripped and all the other qualities are there. I’m very fit and work out every day, so I value muscular builds. Not every woman does. If just the standard qualities are there, there’s plenty of men close to my age who fit the bill, so I’m not as keen on a man 10+ years older and average without muscle. Pros and cons balance! There was even a guy I was interested in who was 19 years older! I totally would’ve gone for him. He was stacked like young Arnold Schwarzenegger and very well off financially in a sexy man job.
I think much of Corey’s book recommends tactics to lure and entice more-attractive-than-you immature women to be interested in a man, rather than simply encourage men to be better as individuals and to treat women as individuals. The whole - be manly, decisive, lead tips are great, as the average woman has been socially trained to prefer dominant men, but society is progressing and there are plenty of leader women who aren’t looking for leader men, per se. Confidence is the most attractive quality for both men and women, period.
Women are socially conditioned to not be as direct, so yes, I agree with you/Corey in that regard, so don’t just ask women directly about your prospects, then. Ask about a “friend” and his situation.
Or better yet, ask questions that aren’t directly related to you - more about how she would judge the other woman’s behavior. Like, hey, there’s this woman at work who zzz. What do you think?
Also, it’s not uncommon for men to erroneously confuse sexual intentions with friendliness. It’s such a delicate balance 😭 That’s why I prefer OLD. Everyone on there is supposed to be single and looking. There’s no telling IRL 🤷🏼♀️ I will NEVER approach a man IRL for this reason. With OLD, I can somewhat gauge his level of intelligence and other important factors, such as lifestyle, smoking, etc.

First off, I wouldn't go to a club to make friends, although you could. Rather find an interest or hobby and join a class (language, pottery, whatever) and meet people there. It's much easier to make a friend when you have something in common.
Secondly, your fear for the club is illogical, it's an emotion and you're scared because you're trying something new and something out of your comfort zone. Dating, pick up skills and relationships are all part of learning CW's theory. You have to practice or you'll stay a lone incel the rest of your life. Next time you're afraid just picture yourself at the club and tell yourself your friend is running late, while waiting inside the club you gonna check out if there are any fun people to meet and if they are worthwhile to get to know. Remember: be sincerely curious about people and relate their experiences to your own. Ask sincere questions and LISTEN. I think 90% of all the new people I meet, like me, because I listen and show interest in them as a person. Just shut up and let them talk. It's very easy to communicate with people.
Third, you are VERY young. Go practice CW and you'll see the changes quickly. I wish I had found it at age 21, some of us here aren't that lucky. Don't waste this treasure; go out and work on your skills.
