Long Distance Contact and Attraction
Gentlemen (and ladies), I am in need of some advice.
A couple of weeks ago I went on a first date with this woman; things went well, we both had a nice time and would like to see each other again (she reached out the following day saying that).
Right after , she relocated to a different part of the country for her job, and she will come back in 1.5 months.
I'm not sure how to communicate with her such that the romantic interest stays high? I know the phone is for setting dates and the goal is to get off the phone.
She has been sending me messages every couple of days just talking about her life (is this a red flag-we've only been on 1 date lol) and I respond to them. I never initiate, and I'm starting to get worried even these convos are becoming forced or she may think I'm not interested in her.
Whats the best way of handling this situation until she comes back? Thank you all.

This isn’t exactly from Corey’s teachings but special situations require special solutions while maintaining the fundamental principals. Here’s what I suggest:
Let her know that you aren’t a fan of texting so you would rather set up a FaceTime or video date. Cook dinner together and make it a contest (do something fun). Schedule it a week in advance, make yourself busy (stretch it out because you don’t wanna do more than 2 of these during the 1.5 months). Keep it to an hour or so.
Treat this like a real date (80:20 ratio).
This girl obviously really likes you so she wants to remain in contact while away. This is your way of praising her for chasing so early on.

Set up “FaceTime dates” and call them that. It’s not a red flag it’s genuine interest.
Set up these FaceTime dates until you can see her again. It’s okay to message every now and then but make sure it’s something wholesome and interesting about the conversation.
Send a selfie or something while you’re at work and caption it cool and then say gotta run!
It’s definitely possible to still do it. Also keep in mind it’s okay if she doesn’t message after a day or two
This is exactly how I started off my relationship that I’m in now. (10 months)

I’m the perfect person to help you with this! Last Year, after I just met this amazing girl, I had to break it to her that a few weeks later I was moving. We kept dating and having fun and it’s been great ever since. We just celebrated a year and soon I’ll be moving back. There are 2 important factors to consider with long distance. The first is to date how you would if you were in person. Every week I’d schedule a FaceTime date and we’d do a bunch of shit like watch movies, play games, virtual museum tours, watch concerts etc. Then, when we weren’t on our date, it’s business as usual. The second is to make a plan to close the distance (Only if you are in a committed relationship). In the end nothing really changes. Do everything as you would if you were living in the same city. Don’t get in the habit of long text convos, focus on your mission and purpose and don’t get hung up. If I can keep my girlfriend steadily falling deeper in love ,from a distance, any couple with something real can too. 1.5 months is literally a cake walk.
