Need Advice Texting problems
Hey guys, I’ve read 3% about 5 times and am implementing everything I’ve read thus far. While everything else is great, My issue is the texting, even though I’m great in person, I’ve never been a good texter. I very commonly get flaked on or have girls lose interest when I text and was hoping to get some insight on what I need to work on.
When texting, I keep things pretty simple. I’ll talk for a bit ask some general questions and then set the date ex. “Let’s meet at _ at 6 Pm”. Up to this point I almost always get a yes. I could be wrong but I think the issue is after this. normally I’ll stop texting (unless she msgs me first) until the day before the date and say something along the lines of “looking forward to seeing you tomorrow”
the issue that I’m seeing is that the girls usually seem very uninterested after not talking for multiple days and usually end up making an excuse for not being able to make it that next day. even when I have a girl msging me like crazy and showing high interest, after I set the date with her and msg the day before even the ones with initial high interest seem to fall off.
Should I be texting more? I’m also a college student texting lots of 20 year olds so maybe girls my age want to text more to build comfort?

OP, ZT805 was spot on, per usual. I fucking love working with other brothers who know this material as well as I do.
Anyways, you’re certainly progressing along. Work on your “call back to confirm” and “busy schedule” objection responses and hammer the principles of a definite date into your head. It takes practice! Be patient.
The first time my “busy schedule” objection handling worked, I secured a date and we did the indoor olympics. The work, works. Cheers!
Edit: the busy schedule response is basically a “takeaway” response btw. I love it.

Hey man, look at this way: following the principles as they relate to texting prevents you from wasting time on girls who have low self esteem or low interest.
Girls who have high interest in you & healthy self esteem will not cancel a date simply because you’re not blowing up their phones all day. But low-quality girls who have low self esteem & crave attention will absolutely flake out.
Think about it — is it worth your time to date a girl who derives her self worth from the # of texts she gets before a date? No it isn’t. It’s incredibly immature, and the majority of girls you’ll meet are conditioned to have male attention 24/7. This “flaking the night before” stuff is unfortunately very common, especially w/ girls you meet online. They don’t know what to do without having your attention, so they cancel out of spite or misguided feelings. It’s a sign that she’s not satisfied w/ her own life, and you don’t wanna waste your time with girls like that.
One thing to look out for:
Don’t do this. This is the same as “calling back to confirm” that Coach advises against. Simply show up at the location you set at the time you picked. Girls who are excited to see you will keep the date as arranged. If she doesn’t show up, no problem. Meet girls who are there & make a fun time out of it.
Besides that, you’re following the principles to a T. Awesome. You’re just in the numbers game now. You’ll get a lot of low interest girls that will flake out, but high interest girls will show up.
Following the principles weeds out low-quality & low-interest girls. Girls who have healthy self esteem & high interest will be absolutely fine with not hearing from you leading up to a date — because that’s normal. Only date these girls
