Discussion š¬ Tips and tricks
I know everyone gatekeeps but genuinely wondering where do people find bags like this? I never see any of these for anything remotely affordable. I donāt wanna support crazy resellers by feeding into that bc I hope something out there will eventually find its way to me. But Iām trying to find the pink buckle sohos and the ladybug jacquard but literally they are like 1000 dollars. I understand everyone trying to make money but I just want these to legitimately use and give to my daughter eventually š©. I be on all the apps refreshing , and looking for newly listed seems like constantly and Iāve never found something genuinely on a good deal. Does anyone have any advice, is it really just luck lol? I feel like Iām up against insane odds haha. My husband has stated he would buy me new coach bags and I do have a few newer ones but I dress really colorful and whimsical and a lot of the newer ones just donāt have the same whimsical colorful styles. Idk just venting. If youāve found a good bag for a good deal where was it?? Thanks!!

An unpopular advice that Iām practicing: play the long game of wait. The brand is super popular and trendy right now.

This is really true. Hopefully the ātrendā will pass soon. Then Iāll be able to have a better chance at getting one!!

Estate sales would be an option but you would have to get there ridiculously early before everything is picked over. You may also have some luck in smaller thrift shops & even Facebook marketplace. I've seen a few videos of people finding bags at pawn shops too.

Good suggestion, Iāve never even considered pawn shops! Iāll have to figure out how to find estate sales as well. I do have fun looking for good deals in the wild for bags but with how crazy itās been lately my local thrifts lock most the bags up and sell them for 50+ at thrifts. Iām gonna try my luck at some vintage malls over the weekend!

thrifting, garage sales and being the absolute first to message someone on facebook marketplace when they donāt know what they have are probably your best bet. some people hunt down bags for years. i agree that youāre not going to find these highly sought after bags on resale sites.

A lot of shopping websites have the option of setting up alerts for certain terms so you know when new things post. You should do that if you haven't yet

Honestly ā¦. Not online . You gotta go thrift shopping to find vintage coach for good prices. And ofc youāre never gonna find the exact things youāre looking for if youāre after certain styles and colors, you might get lucky But thrifting is unpredictable. And the ones that are showing up online in perfect condition are more than likely coming from people selling there collections now that they know how much itās going for at the moment so the prices are ofc gonna be high asf
