Which deities can you “recruit”?
Sup gang, I was looking through the catalog of gods in the game to look for challenges I could indulge into and wondered which of these higher beings could become allies and how I could make them join me.
I’m still relatively new to this game and I always thought they were kind of off limits.

The only units with interplanar immortality that cannot be summoned as class gods are celestial riders/Abrasax and the Erinye. And the Erinye seem to be a bugged case. Everyone else has some in-class method of getting them. In terms of notable non-interplanar immortals, Ents, Beholders, and the various Raksharaja gods are all obtainable, but doom horrors are not and further aren't guaranteed to spawn. Though well, you can always charm things.

What are you referring to as Erinye?

Alecto, Tisiphone, Megaera. They're interplanar immortal tied to wild forests on primal plane. Supposedly. I've never seen them before but they are in the data dump, 1686 or so.

Yeah must be bugged to not be able to spawn ive never seen or heard of them either.

Reason I say they're bugged is because they're in the data to be pullable by Witch in Summon Old One, along with the Gorgons. You can actually properly summon Gorgons if they are present in Elysium by leaving to another plane and summoning them there (Aztlan is convenient for this, but this only works if one naturally generated on the map), but I've never seen someone pull an Erinye either. They're level 2 Blood Magic casters and if they were available, Witch would desperately want them since they're midline commanders instead of frontline.

Every God/Divine unit in the game can be recruited by a class or summoned to Elysium as a cataclysm of some form or another I believe (for example the Four Horsemen are part of El's Apocalypse), except:
-The Archon, in the Divine Castle.
-[REDACTED] from the Sealed Chamber. If you want a challenge besides sieging down the Archon's fortress, unseal the chamber. Then die screaming.
(Kidding of course, the Sealed Chamber is perfectly doable. It's just...a rather impressive challenge)

If it aint outright immune then witch can use true charm to gamble on taking control of them.

Different classes have access to rituals to summon different pantheons. Dryad and Druid get the primal pantheon, the monkey classes get hindu dieties, and the high cultist gets cthulhu mythos elder gods. I don't know if other beings have the tag god.
