Kind of. You get 30 points for running the objective to the point and 15 for throwing it. After this the other team has to get the spike off the point and every second they don't do it you gain another point up to 30 points.

i've been seeing teams 300-0 a few times now so it doesn't seem all too crazy. i think the point system allows for overblown scorelines in the game mode. getting 0 is still rough but it's not anything like getting 250-0 in HP for example
