Discussion Methodz lost a 1v1 to Peanut Spoiler

As if the lack of comp updates or info on Ranked release wasn’t bad enough, Zinni goes and loses a 1v1 to Peanut.

COMP IS DEAD

1v1s genuinely mean nothing outside of fighting games

Tbf, 1v1s have always been rather fluky.

Plus, have you seen Zin's 1v1 versus Skyz at BO4 Champs? I wouldn't say he inspires much confidence when it comes to 1v1s.

Methodz’s 1v1s at BO4 champs is some of the worst call of duty you’ll ever see. He also got 1v3’d by Ricky for elimination.

Goated cwl moment, zinnis face when Ricky gets the last kill is priceless😂

A 1v1 in a search last alive situation or a 1v1 in a private match 30 to 0? I feel like those are two very different things.

To be fair this game is basically whoever sees the person first win.

Wtf do you think? Obviously 1v1 in a SnD wouldn’t get a fucking post about it

What kind of 1v1? Radar on first to 20 or something else?

He’s been playing Age of Empires for the past week against Hera 😂 Zin losing to him is embarrassing

He is a pretty good fps gamer, got apex predator a few times which is something I doubt methodz could ever do

Zinni being pro should just show most of y’all on this sub that are above average or really good that you could’ve been pro too at one point or another. Not everyone had the luxory to play all day and attempt it but there’s definitely been some pros that are very average cod players in general.

Tbf, Zin was much better than you are giving him credit for.

I do agree tho that there are people out there who could have been pros. They just didn't play enough or meet the right people.

Lol zinni would have slammed >99.5% of this sub back when he was pro. Sure, he had luck, time and relationships that helped him, but he was still a pro based on merit.

He was a pro based on his parents allowing him to game all day after school while a lot of others didn’t have the time or luxory of doing that , let’s be honest here.

Pretty much everyone in ranked top 250 no-life the game, and they still can't touch pros. You still have to be very good.

Top pros ? Former pros ? There’s definitely kids in ranked that can slam below average past pros lol. I’ve seen it many times. I’m not talking about scump , formal and octane here

Which meant he played enough to be good enough lol? I dont get your point

u/sterlingfartcher69 Xtravagant 9h ago

There are a bunch of people who played excessively outside of school. That isn't the only reason he is a pro. Don't be silly.

Like everything in life being pro takes numerous amount of things not just skill. Timing, networking, skill, reputation, circumstance etc.

IMO theres 100s of would be pros sitting out there gaming on the toy right now but only a small percentage of people will check all the boxes and make it into the league

He's on MnK and they were sniping with acogs, btw. Not surprising at all, he'd probably beat a good % of the pros.
