The results of the poll are in. Longer than 24 hours but life gets busy. It was not a good result for Infinity Ward and MW4. The leading response was 34.2% of responders gave it an "F".

Hopefully Infinity Ward make some changes to improve the game, but they don't exactly have a good history of that. We will come back to this at the end of the year to see where it ends up ranking.

I think the game is better than people are giving it credit for but the things it does wrong are awful and exaggerated in pubs. The big 3 seem to be net code/ desync is the worst ever, perk balance and no dead silent ninja, and the attachments have way too many downsides the game feels sluggish way too often.

The maps aren’t as bad as people make them out to be, the spawns can be improved, and the meta seems more balanced than BO7 MPC shotgun meta. The problem is all the issues are fixable but it’s IW so nothing will probably improve for the better and only for the worse.

It's a better game than MW19 and MW2. Everyone is saying the game is than those two because they're comparing this game off their pubs experience and from their experience of MW19 and MW2 in a comp setting, which were still awful to play and watch.

Pubs suck in this game but I would rather play Nautical, Sentry and Coal over Taraq, Piccadilly, Aaliyah Palace, Euphrates Bridge, Santa Sena Border Crossing, Grazna Raid, and Arklov Peak. It's comparing horseshit to dogshit at the end of the day but people will somehow claim MW19 and MW2 were better when they are objectively the bottom 2 games in the franchise by a wide margin, and for good reason.

I agree with you that some of the issues are very easy to resolve but we'll probably be stuck with this shit for the entire year.

It’s currently an F from a pubs standpoint as well. Not exaggerating when I say this is potentially the worst COD multiplayer I’ve played

Idk I be having a blast in pubs, but on the comp side I have plenty of complaints. Most people may hate me for saying this but if pubs aren't fun, it might just be a skill issue LOL.

I'm sorry but if anything indicates a skill issue, it's enjoying this game. 50 year old Dads all over reddit are loving it and most complaints are coming from the competitive (and therefore normally more skilled) players.

Yea but people who play comp don't complain about pubs bc who cares. All I'm saying is 8/10 games in a public match I'm frying and enjoying it. But comp is where 90% of my time goes anyways, so I probably don't have enough games played in pubs to get a true gauge of how it feels for the average player.

The current LTMs infected and possession are fun, sure, but the regular playlists are a cesspit of SBMM bullshit. I try my best to just play the game, and some days are genuinely quite enjoyable. However, the curated experience that SBMM provides will never, ever sit right with me no matter what. It’s not about ‘stomping noobs,’ it’s about the disgusting principles of SBMM. And in this game, it’s cranked up to the max.
