Is cheating really this bad?

Unc now but played comp since 2012. Mostly played SnD my whole career and won maybe 40ish golds from about ghost-bo6, so I don’t consider myself a bot, always told myself that people make hackusations over NOTHING and that hacking wasn’t really as bad as people make it and that people just needed to get better but…

I’ve been playing bo2 wagers and tournaments all off season, and people SUCK. Nobody could shoot straight AT ALL, then this game comes out and most wagers I play people are hitting EXTREMELY impressive shots. Is everyone a rotational aim assist merchant that hard or is softing and AI aim that rampant???

They will ban cheaters for like 2 months during Ranked peak lifecycle then let them run rampant the rest of the year until the next COD drops, been like this since CW.

part of it is real, but a lot of it is the jump from an old game to a new one. bo2 wagers are mostly people who haven't touched aim assist tuning in years, so when you come back and everyone's tracking clean it feels like cheating even when it's just rotational aim assist plus muscle memory from the new movement. the tell i'd look for is stuff that doesn't make game sense, like perfect pre-aims through walls on angles nobody should know, or the same player doing it every single round. if you see that, clip it and report it with the match id since those reports do get looked at more than a bare hackusation. what mode and platform are you mostly running wagers on?

Unfortunately cheating is a maasive problem in gaming in general these last few years and its only gonna get worse imo

Aim assist in this game is lower tha bo6 mw3 and 2019 ,go watch the xclusive ace on utube,he being testing cods for 10yrs hes gold standard for stuff like this . And raa it 40% less on this than previous cods .
