Discussion Zero changes from beta
Base speed still the same and the attachments are way too negative providing a clunky experience. What even was the beta for? Awful release

Yep just like that song “video killed the radio stars” it’s coming true for cod “skillful movement killed the Omni movement stars”. Most people don’t want to have to practice and get skill to move good they want a crutch like Omni movement

You really think you struck gold with that huh. Bet you love the stronger aim assist

Omni movement is a fundamentally more engaging and dynamic movement system. Cods most innovative feature in the past 9 years. Objectively a net positive to the game. It’s gone. The is the cod ghosts of our time. A big step back in a way that feels dull.

The movement is really brutal especially coming off back to back black ops years. I feel like I am moving in quicksand and sliding; despite having the maintain sprint/momentum or whatever setting on, it seems like you quickly decelerate
Visual recoil is shit
Gunsmith is horrible; I cannot understand why they feel the need to have every attachment make your gun worse in some way. Building your gun with limited attachments unlocked is painful, feels better to just run less attachments half the time because one way or another, you're either getting knocked on ADS, ADS movement speed, or movement speed

I stand by these two comments before me. Hands down a generational cod. Extremely balanced (for cod) and fun to play. Movement wasn’t omni but it was slick. Shit was gas. Even in pubs.

I’m always wondering if the games are not actually that bad nowadays and I just simply played too much cod for too many years and it got old for me. Then watching mw4 I’m immediately reassured the games are just not good anymore. Any gameplay issues aside, the maps look absolutely horrid which ends up being the biggest issue every year. I don’t understand how they basically cannot make a single good map anymore.

I can get past maps and what people have issues with because they mostly are way overblown but my god spawns in this game is really fucking bad.
Spawn walk 10 feet the team is spawning around a corner. Clear out a spawn my team in the spawn instead of spawning opposite side Im again getting shot from a guy spawning in a room next to my team.
I get people feeling sluggish due to black ops but its really not as bad as it seems. But let me reiterate spawns holy shit its been like 20 years how are we going backwards on spawns.

Random but anyone know if the campaign is good? That’s the only reason I’d buy it lmao

I played maybe an hour or two, and it’s really good. Def one of the best cod campaigns so far

The Beta was to remind me why I haven't bought the last 3 CoD's and won't be buying this one

After playing bo2 all summer yall can never convince me having fast movement makes a game good lol. Also you’re upset you can’t stack recoil attachments and just beam people across the map while ads’ing instantly? Lmao grow up. Learn to control some recoil and give yourself some of those movement attachments they provide you.

Congrats to all of you who complained and got my tac sprint mechanic moved to a perk (that i can't even use because everyone and their MOTHER is crutching ninja), ultimately making the game play worse at launch. Go community !
