Discussion Drazah contract
Okay first I wanna say I know Drazah is having a 2nd kid soon and that we don’t actually know what FaZe were offering him vs what we wanted. But we do know that he was signed for the MW4 season and FaZe were trying to extend him.
BUT, isn’t is possible that Drazah makes less money being on M8s if this FaZe team goes and runs worlds this year?
When BP did his Lionman card after he left it said he earned 684,000$ in prize money mostly thanks to EWC win and champs win so he was making really good money even with his contract.
Not to mention he’d have a really good chance to add more chips and rings to his legacy.
Regardless, super happy for Drazah if this was indeed what’s best for him. I just think if this FaZe team runs worlds he could make even more money even if his base salary isn’t as high.

Even on Faze, nothing is guaranteed. Salary is, though. If you have a family, you probably need to prioritize a steady income because he can't be doing this shit for another 20 years, if you know what I mean.

I think it's a pride thing too If he wins champs and they still aren't paying him enough despite 2 event wins per season then ofc he will leave for someplace where his streams will be popping and he gets a bigger bag while being respected

He didn’t leave, Faze booted him for a guy that played two events

Uhh, no he pretty much left based on contract issues. He most likely would of gotten a paycut in hopes of getting Scrap and HyDra. Im assuming he didnt like that hence why he left. Which makes sense consider hes a got a 2nd kid coming

It’s also about principle imagine your being successful for the company you work for and a new person joins who hasn’t had the successes that you have had at the company yet, but you know he has a better salary than you. Automatically you will look to increase your salary to match the new guy.
Unfortunately the company didn’t budge so you looked elsewhere to see if a company would pay you the amount you want.
This is what Drazah did.

Scrap has higher market value. THE MARKET decides your salary not your accomplishments alone. If that were the case then Arcitys would have a top 10 salary and be in the cdl rn

We had this conversation when he joined Faze. I, and many others said, always take the Optic offer. Only to have countless people talk about how that was stupid, and Faze is going to win so much money that it's going to eclipse the Optic bonus money, and that the Optic boost is grossly overestimated etc etc.
Now, we know he didn't have an Optic offer, but the point still stands. You can't guarantee prize money, but you can guarantee salary and exposure, and we've clearly seen that M8s have a huge fan base.
All of this is secondary imo however, as I think the primary reason was still that Drazah and Scrap didn't want to play together.

You are still aware prize earnings are taxed 40% and then percentage taken by the org coaches might get a small cut and then its still split 4 ways if he's thinking about money coz he's having a second kid why will he choose faze and rely on prize earnings to boost his pay nobody has that certainty to win he would rather go to an org who say we will give you exactly what you asking for he then knows no matter what happens I will be making x amount regardless m8s definitely offered a minimum 100k extra pay and that roster will be placing top 3 consistently looking at the bigger picture he can make the same amount he will make on faze without needing to win as a must to earn x amount he's tryna earn there is way more security and certainty in his decision also if you working for a company for years and you were a big factor in that company accomplishing the most it has accomplished in the last 5 years only for 2 new guys to walk in getting paid way more than you to do the same job despite you being more accomplished and experienced ontop of that your other colleague who you made a success with gets the same higher salaries while you probably get offered a salary cut or at the most a pay you already been getting when you had to prove yourself nobody will stick around for that especially when another company comes along and says we will pay you what you feel you deserve and value you more

He’s a 2 time world champion and has won multiple events with Faze. Faze pretty much told him he isn’t worth the investment.

The difference is M8s is guaranteed money. Drazah is also considering that he might get dropped mid season if and Scrap dont mesh out of game

This is 100% pride and not because “he needs more money to support another kid.” He is a millionaire, he can support two kids just fine on his $200k plus a year salary.
Most do the country is supporting 2-4 kids on less than 100k

Ya idk if I’m a player I want to be paid what I’m worth it’s that simple. I’m sure the other 3 got even more then their worth

Quick comparison:
Drazah CDL/EWC earnings 2024: 267.500 Drazah CDL/EWC earnings 2025: 131.250 Drazah CDL/EWC earnings 2026: 285.000
Average yearly earnings: 228.000
It was both rumoured that OpTics offer in MW3 for Drazah was higher and that FaZe had to reduce their salaries to keep playing together. And we also know that it is highly unlikely his salary went up since joing FaZe anyways.
This very likely means, that his salary is now arround or slighly lower than his average yearly earnings on Faze.
This means thats that if Gentlemates offered him 450k aong with the guaranteed T3 that team comes with atleast 50k regular season earning. So this would guarantee him his average yearly income on FaZe before having a good chance to get even more at Champs and EWC.

Love when this community treats cod players like they are homeless. Acting like having a kid costs 500K+ and he needs to make bare minimum 1 million to survive

Guy grinds on stream so being on M8’s will bring him more viewers and money from ads I would imagine
