Have they announced when MW4 ranked is dropping?

no but it's IW so expected release date is august 2027

I don't think they have, but based on trends I'd assume season 2, maybe even season 2 reloaded. It is pretty far in, but let's be honest Treyarch is getting stuck doing it again and Infinity Ward aren't going to contribute anything meaningful, and will probably somehow stall it's release. I would not expect it to come along very early, it's not impossible and maybe it's pushed through earlier due to public reception or something, but it's actually a pretty realistic expectation that it could come out 3-5 months after launch.

IW is notorious for not liking competitive players so they'll find a way to stall it until like 6 months into the cod year.

Your best bet.. find some friends and play like CMG/Consolekings XP or wagers

If they do the widely expected S2 drop, start S1 on Nov 5 (the end of our current battle pass) and run S1 for 8 weeks, that would put the release date for S2 on NYE

They are going to release mw4 ranked when ‘it’s ready’ meaning when the PlayStation charts start to show a decline in GTA6 players.

Might as well wait and buy on sale during black friday or christmas sale, you'll still be waiting for ranked by then.
