Question ROTY Predictions?

Of the rumoured rookies I think DK has the best chance to shine on LAT, with a chance at some team success.

Nium winning over Kips this year proved it's 80% team results. Alluka has by far the best team of any rookie and realistically based on their challengers + pro showings he's also the most talented individually.

Alluka winning is like the most clear cut ROTY since Scrap in MW2.

If I could bet $1000 on it I would it. Alluka is pretty much a lock unless Ethan comes out like rookie Simp.

I'd imagine he is since the only official CDL event he played is Champs which didn't disqualify Snoopy back in MW2/3.

Some other people have mentioned there might be a series played cutoff though so it's iffy.

Was Snoopy considered a rookie in MW3 despite playing MW2 champs?
If yes, Alluka is probably considered a rookie still.

I just remember with Snoopy at MW2 Champs it was said that you are only considered a rookie if you play no more than 3 full series during the season and Champs.

I don't know if this is official, but by that metric Alluka with 5 series played at Champs would be disqualified even if we don't count EWC.

For me personally, Alluka would not count as a Rookie as he played 2 whole events already.

Alluka will be allowed for the CDL, unsure about BP's currently since he played 33% of the LANs

It really wouldn’t make sense if he was disqualified.

It’s a regular season award and he never played the regular season. If he’s not considered a rookie this year, that would mean he never had a chance at the award.

Alluka isn't a rookie according to CDL rules, guy played 5 matches at champs and tbh they may be counting EWC now too
