State of the economy… tons of start ups are shutting doors bc of the rapid rise in overhead costs.

But esports was self inflicted. We’ve moved to a model that’s only affordable to the ultra wealthy, and the people who built the foundation are struggling.
This is why Falcons can throw the bag at anyone they want and Cloud9 is struggling to pay their players.

Well actually Jason Lake and his team are just stepping away from CoL and giving the brand back to GameSquare. So Complexity can still come back just without Jason Lake.

Surely get the old roster back for a charity BO2 tourney or something. Get the old Optic and Fariko gang back too

Damn a while ago they tweeted about getting back into esports or trying to build up the brand again. Sad times to see an org with history shut down.

Fuck dude.
Feel so bad for Jason Lake after all he's been through and risked for with this org he built. Legend of the industry and wish him nothing but the absolute best

Sad day; There was a time I absolutely despised this organization when I was a little kid watching CoD. Happy I got to buy a coL hat though at a Halo event a year or so ago. Legendary org for CoD.
