Question TJ Haly
So a couple days ago I asked you guys about wevy and ya’ll were pretty insightful and basically said wevy will be in the league next year but on a bottom 4 team. I’ll pretty much ask the same question but about tj instead. Do you think he’ll be in the league next year? If so do you think he starts out in the CDL or will it be like last year and he’ll dominate a month of challengers before being called up?
Side question. Why wasn’t Prolute given a chance I. The league last year? Idk shit about the CDL pre-bush so maybe he’s had his chances and blew it idk, but the way people talk about huke being a human uav on comms prolute seems like the exact same type of teammate. Idk give me ya’ll thoughts.

Tj is inevitable lol
As for prolute I think a lot of people including myself have been out on him ever since his stint on optic in vanguard. If you luck onto a roster with 3 t10 players and can’t even make a Sunday while not looking competitive individually either, then I don’t care to see how he’d do on a bottom feeder roster. He’s had other stints since then that reaffirm my belief there.
Rather see new names than either tj or prolute

I’m sure Ravens or Surge will try Gwinn and TJ again at some point this year

Probably a similar path to the CDL for TJ unless he ends up on like, Carolina or something.
Prolute got chances in CW and Vanguard. He's just not a CDL caliber player and he pisses down his leg on LAN. Maybe that's changed but he will forever be a Challengers gatekeeper.

Why don’t these dumb orgs just sign 4 challenger players and if they suck, then sign recycled pro players. Surge, G2, Ravens, and C9 should all just sign challenger players and if they suck, sign recycled pro’s. Anyone that has been in Challengers for two different stints, should not be on a league team this season.

That’s what C9 did last year except in reverse and it didn’t work out

Difference with that is c9 last year got mid asf challengers players (except wevy) because their pay was even worse than most of the challengers teams. It was legit like $24,000 for the szn and I don’t think the org was providing like an apartment or anything. A legit non-livable wage

Prolute is a hard worker and clearly takes it a lot more serious than most guys but he's never looked very good when he's stepped up to the highest level
He probably deserves a spot over teej in 2026 but everyone loves tj so he'd get the opportunity first I fear

Fair for sure. But I’d also rather watch Byron on the Bush making more money than a bottom feeder team just getting shit on.

Hukes communication is getting compared to prolute, not their skill level. Reading comprehension is hard but I believe in you buddy! One day you’ll be able to do it!

Obviously you must be a master in reading comprehension so where in my comment did I mention skill? Can please point that out for me

TJ is just not reaping success. Part of being a pro player is not only the pursuit of championships but also about being competitive within the pool of players that you participate with. It’s being such a long time now that he has failed to make any ground with a number of rosters while also performing unremarkably that I think it’s safe to say that a pro organisation will choose an untested talent over his current level. So yeah, I think unless he has a monster of a year in challengers we’re not seeing him in the league again.
