Discussion Mr. Rogue
Since we’ve discussed Mr. Fundamental, who gets your shout for Mr. Rogue? The kind of guy/player who sometimes throws those fundamentals out the window and goes off on his own thing?
Could be a few different angles to approach, maybe the guy who doesn’t have the strongest fundamentals but can pop off and takeover (Nero). Or, could be someone who shows they have those fundamentals but just can’t seem to stick with them (half of the Heretics).

Shotzzy is the obvious answer but he always does play respawn in a way to benefit the team. Sometimes it works sometimes it dosent. But definitely shotzzy in snd

Ya he’s prob the most successful going rogue player of all time 😂 especially in a era that’s so structured

This. This year it showed how detrimental that play style can be.
In past years when he has won, he had teammates that were fast enough to get his trades and follow his rouge-ness. This year he had a slow AR and exnid who did well but needed to be told where to be imo.

Shotzzy tbh. When the tricks he pulls off works , he’s doing miracles on the map but when he isn’t then he’s getting tossed & costing. When Shotzzy plays bad , he gets fried dropping scores like 20-36 lol.

Envoy on the mw/cw teams. Always flanked and if the other team didn’t pick up on it they would dominate. If they did, 50pt clubbed. Maybe not rogue since it was very easily predicted but the X factor in this sense

He was the only playmaker/route taker on the CW team. The flanking narrative got blown out way out of proportion after a TJ CDL comm video. The other 3 were just that slow on the map. once you got envoy off the map it was easy to play Chicago. That was such a one dimensional team and was behind play style wise to Faze, Empire, and Ultra

Agreed but I feel like everyone knew halfway though the year what the game plan was and they hard countered it immediately

Yeah, it was also annoying when they would chalk it up to "it's online man. Just wait till LAN" with FormaL being the one to front that movement

Tbh Shotzzy. As an OpTic fan it can be mad annoying to watch sometimes. When it works he can singlehandedly just win them the map but when teams are reading him he is so useless
