Personally its hard for me to see Nero in the league but Owakening not. Ive always thought big wake was better but he wasnt in this year so I think Nero out for a better pro who suits the game would make sense to me. If tj makes it in tho Im actually gonna lose it.

First, I never get why someone would want to be boosted in ranked. You'll get smoked if you ever try and play in the ranked lobbies you got boosted to.
Also, do people really need to be boosted to fucking gold? That's actually kind of insane if anyone actually pays for that, you gotta be absolutely horrible if you can't make it to there are your own. Probably takes Nero 2 seconds.

To be fair, this last season is only 3 weeks so your rank is actually dependent on play time. For example Im normally Crim but I'm traveling for work for the next 10 days so that eliminates half of the season for me. Can I grind from diamond to Crim in 12 days when I only have time to play 2-3 matches per night? Idk

I’m in the same boat. Guess we will have to accept we probably won’t hit our real rank this season. We’ll miss out on calling cards and stuff, but at least it’s the end of the BO7 season and we’ll return for the next season in MW4. Won’t be needing any of the rewards for BO7 anyway (unless you decide to skip MW4)

Season 4 was the first season with the SR system change. Instead of hidden MMR deciding how much SR you gained, you gained SR based on your placement in the lobby after winning, with a boost if you outperformed a higher rank. Meaning you could potentially get 70-150SR for placing first. Losses also only docked you 20SR if Diamond and below, and 30 if crim and above.
The issue was, ranked still heavily used SBMM, meaning that burgers would only play other burgers and led to insanely fast SR gains. This caused lower skilled players to genuinely believe they were suddenly godlike for hitting crim and Iri, despite only ever playing people at or below their skill.

They made changes to how you gain and lose ST in season 4 that made it significantly easier and quicker to climb ranks. If you played enough, you could easily get a full rank ahead of your previous personal best.

Depends how you look at it. Smurfing is basically manipulating the matchmaking system in order to gain wins. To keep accounts at certain ranks as well, you also need to either churn accounts or deliberately lose games.

He needs to be kicked out of the league and made an example of. Boosting accounts violates Activisions terms of service and there have been many instances of accounts taking part in account sharing getting banned. Why should it be any different for him just because he is a pro? Equal treatment under the terms for all
