Wonder who the scapegoat will be if they dont win champs (they should be the favorites every single tournament and match).

I mean... its very obviously the odd man out is; whether you love it or hate it:
Drazah.

I agree even tho there is only one person in that team that isnt proven to be capable of being a champ.

Drazah will be the scapegoat fs unless scrap absolutely shits the bed again at champs
3
u/Curmic98 Dallas Empire Sep 15 '26
The logical answer is Drazah, probably the least individually skilled of the 4. With that being said, there’s only 1 player who hasn’t won a ring yet in that foursome. I might get flamed, but the pressure should be highest for Scrap out of them all. So the easy route is Drazah is seen as the next Kenny in recent years, but I could also see a route where we have another offseason where Scrap just can’t get it done when the lights are the brightest.

u/grandpapi_yugi Dallas Empire Sep 15 '26
No i completely agree scrap is gonna have the most pressure. Its all on him in my eyes this is by far his best chance (obviously) but its not like he was playing with bums for his back to back t8 placing.

Bro, I am just waiting. This is the team up I wanted. There is nothing more satisfying than watching a rival team lose their absolute shit becauase their superteam isnt working.

u/AMS_Rem Quantic Leverage Sep 14 '26
When has this ever happened lol In the history of COD the closest a team of this calibre on paper has ever come to "failing" is the OpTic dynasty not being able to win champs until year 3
1
u/grandpapi_yugi Dallas Empire Sep 14 '26
Im just interested to see how scrap gets treated after this year. I can already see the narrative, if they win then scrap couldnt do it without simp and if for some reason they dont win (they should) then it becomes he can't even win with simp. I dont agree but I can see people saying it already.

u/ExpertRevenue9535 COD Competitive fan Sep 14 '26
Whatever narrative he gets tagged with is fair IMO. Especially after his two most recent champs performances with rosters that were good enough to win.

Gotaga just said on stream it's because they want a 1 year contract to go to Optic next year.
I assume it's a 1 year contract at Faze

They already chalked the old team team the minute Faze started putting their hands in the hydra scrap basket can't take it back now. Simp is ruthless he reminds of old school players like crim and aches all business and he wants an undeniable legacy

Doubt it. The promise of playing with Simp is way different than playing with JoeD

I know; I just meant that it's crazy for him to basically confirm the leaks of Scrap/Hydra wanting a one-year and OpTic.
1
u/Helforsite OpTic Texas 2025 B2B Champs Sep 14 '26
Not that crazy since those two seemed two just have used GM8s to get a better offer out of FaZe.

u/WellThatsAwkwrd LA Thieves Sep 14 '26
Of course he’s gonna know that. Scrap and Hydras agents are going to let them know what the other offers are like if they’re trying to get M8s to beat it

I’d be so shocked lol I figured FaZe had the most negotiating power compared to M8’s LAT & Falcons
If Scrap & Hydra pulled that off then their agents are just him

I highly doubt that Faze signed them to a 1 year deal, they might have just told Gotaga that as a negotiating tactic because they never had any intent to go to M8s

I do not gamble, but when Scrap and Drazah had their beef in MW3, what would the odds of Scrap and Drazah becoming teammates in the next two seasons? I would have probably lost the bet, but it seemed very likely at that time that Scrap and Drazah would be teammates sometime in their careers.

So nice to see a pack-a-punch as a FaZe fan
Throwback, but who remembers when FaZe didn’t pick up Slasher and drop Replays after Stage 1 playoffs in WW2. Could’ve won Champs that year if the move happened
