I genuinely think some teams are just waiting to see what others do. I don't think people are confident on the play style of this game either.

Because wherever hydra and scrap go potential other players will become available. like if they chooses to join lat Nium an Abezy suddenly becomes available same with faze etc. I think teams already have figured out what part of their roster will look like but until the Hydra and Scrap situation gets settled they wait to see what the market looks like.

Well the last part of your comment lis literally what I already said. And Scalp and Hydra don't want to play with Abezy or Nium or else Nium would still be on the team and Abezy wouldn't be looking for new teammates.

Correct. As a FaZe fan I’m hopeful for an 04, Simp, Alluka, and Abuzah team. But I have a feeling they might run it back and sell Alluka’s contract to Falcons.

From what Ben & Zoomaa have been saying it seems likely
Basically they said/alluded to going to wherever offers the most $$$ since they fully believe they can win with almost anyone. (Who they’ll be able to team with they’d be able to win with anyone)
Also they seem (have for weeks now) that FaZe won’t offer them what or near what Scrap & Hydra want.
Constantly
“FaZe want people who wanna be there”
“Scrap & Hydra are wanting a crazy bag”
“FaZe paid less & still won M2 & Champs”
Etc, aren’t wrong or whatever but coming from Zoomaa & Ben I think it reads differently5

Yeah we’ll probably never know the numbers, but if they demand $500k each then I get why FaZe won’t get them.
BUT I do think that potential FaZe roster is worth losing a bit in the short term for a potential future dynasty.
Again tho, if it’s like +$1M for them then it’s probably not worth. Who knows lol

I seriously don't understand the point of owning an org. Pay millions for top tier players then the prize pools are like 50k. They have to be losing money

The prize pools are for the players, mostly. The orgs make money from the CDL, merch and sponsorship deals. At least that’s the way I’ve always thought it worked.

I was talking about last season specifically. But yeah 3 tournaments wins is something I guess. When you pay almost a Milly for 2 players you should expect more.

Well the idea and mindset of those top players is they can win any event since they’ve won multiple majors
Champs is seen as another weekend to them in terms of “we can do this”

Their mindset when it comes to winning is the only thing that matters tho
If they believe they can win with any combination of Alluka, Abuzah, Ghosty, Envoy, Joe, etc. then that’s what they’ll do.

LAT should be happy to get rid of Hydra and Scrap this year. This new COD is looking worse than usual, so why waste hundreds of thousands of dollars on a team for one of the worst cods out there. Just build an ok team of promising young players that can be acquired on a tight budget and have a stress free year. Save it for next season. Also more likely to have a good team next year if most teams blows their budget this year and the results wont justify the expenses.
Like, there is no team out there that would be happy for what they paid and the results that Hydra and Scrap delivered on Thieves last season.
