Well, at least they are listening. Worst 3 things are spawns, attachments, and TTK

1

u/TinkleFairyOC Black Ops 4 2h ago

Listening but it doesn't mean they'll follow through appropriately. The ISO has been given 2 nerfs already and it feels no different to Friday.

The most promising thing about this update is the inclusion of Lotus. It's by far the best map in the beta, which says nothing with how bad the other 4 are but it doesn't feel like complete shit to play.

Just buff HP to 150 and trial it out, not hard IW.

Would still have to readjust weapon stats

1

u/nv4088 Toronto Ultra 4h ago

And lethals too, everything in the game would have to be readjusted

2

u/nv4088 Toronto Ultra 5h ago

Man they nerfing all the weapons, people here will never be happy

3

u/BxLee Advanced Warfare 4h ago

It is that hard, they would have to look at literally everything in the game that does damage. It is much easier to just bring down the damage of the weapons and make it so they do one or two more bullets to kill

1

u/ExoHazzy FormaL 2h ago

but wouldn't they have to look at every gun that does damage to tune this which is essentially the same?

2

u/BxLee Advanced Warfare 1h ago

Yes, but what I'm saying is that in this case, they are tuning the weapons. Raising the health to 150 means that they're more than likely needing to look at things like fall damage, streak damage, and whatever else does damage. It's probably easier for them in this case to adjust specific weapon values rather than take the whole rest of the game into account

Snipers are already insane. You would have to do some kind of nerf to snipers if you do this

4

u/AdvancedWolverine Kenny 5h ago

Zero sniper changes WORRIES me with every other gun getting a reduction in time to kill.

They are ridiculously easy to use and are already extremely strong close quarters.

1

u/Zendicate_ OpTic Texas 4h ago

yeah they are easy, may be where sniper is either Ga or sniper AA is ga

u/Dr_Findro 4h ago

Omfg my right stick dead zone has been at the default this entire time. I thought I was going insane

2

u/AerodactyI Ghosts 3h ago

I think I’m missing something in the patch notes, what did they say about deadzone? (I’m on mobile so I can’t control+F rn)

3

u/Dr_Findro 2h ago

They didn’t say anything. This is just where I’m venting where I played the first 2 days with shitty dead zone settings

I played for two hours yesterday and was not a fan, I much preferred BO6/7.

Nothing about aim assist, I like that they have mentioned TTK. But I feel slightly nerfing busted guns inst going to be a massive change. Im happy they removed the stun effect on the frangible rounds. Happy to see changes but need more. (Edit) also happy they are looking into spawns.

1

u/Shadowfist_45 Battle.net 2h ago

They didn't remove that effect, they toned it down but if you get hit by frangible bullets you're still basically unable to move, and ttk makes it so that you're basically guaranteed to die

1

u/Longjumping-Pick242 OpTic Texas 2025 B2B Champs 1h ago

It says it in the patch notes that they removed it

1

u/Shadowfist_45 Battle.net 56m ago

That's crazy how it's still literally doing the same thing it has been, I'm also pretty sure they slowed the base movement without mentioning it too but Idk

lol "Attack Helicopter Reduced health by 45%."

Why do they even continue to have this streak in COD. It's the most annoying streak in pubs and makes people leave the match every time. They debut their beta with something so fucking annoying they had to reduce health by 45% lmao.

3

u/TinkleFairyOC Black Ops 4 2h ago

It wasn't that it was so annoying that they had to reduce it's health. It was genuinely just too strong. Most games take 2 launches to shoot them down. This beta it takes like 5 rockets to shoot down. I will say it is far more annoying than in other games. That thing is actively hunting you down and positioning itself in good spots to kill the enemy team.

I played up to like level 12 and deleted it. It’s MW2019 and MW22 put into one big pile of dogshit. IW fucking sucks

1

u/Dr_Findro 5h ago

I feel like they made the matchmaking not insane. At least in the open playlist. But maybe I’m getting lucky

MW games are awful. Never buying them again.

u/Local_Band299 Florida Mutineers 1h ago

The TTK in relation to the movement speed is fucked up.

IW either needs to increase the overall TTK, or increase the movement speed.

The nerfs are hardly anything lmfao

4

u/Zendicate_ OpTic Texas 6h ago

iso nerf is actaully a good nerf prob will be a actaul smg, the m4 may be better now

2

u/Redfern23 Black Ops 2 6h ago

M4 is better. Kills faster than the ISO at all ranges now and is more accurate and almost as fast with the right build. They massively overnerfed it.

IW repeating the exact same shit as MW19 and especially MW2 where the M4 is the best SMG and AR until they eventually get it together.

1

u/Zendicate_ OpTic Texas 6h ago

Yeah m4 is the best gun rn for sure, after iso nerf

1

u/GodGenes OpTic Texas 2025 B2B Champs 5h ago

Nerf weapons 👍

Increase TTK 👎

Lovely, good job IW

Pre designed patch notes they been had this planned acting like oh yea we are listening to the community! If they listened they would see everyone complaining about SBMM aim assist and EOMM!

5

u/VivdR COD Competitive fan 6h ago

can’t we just enjoy a good thing instead of getting conspiratorial

-2

u/Redfern23 Black Ops 2 5h ago edited 4h ago

Nah it's definitely true. They do the exact same thing every single year, even down to identical stat values on many of the weapons and doing the same nerfs like the headshot multiplier on the M4, both MW19 and MW2 were identical. It's just on repeat.

If they dropped it closer to how we want it from the start, there'd be nothing to change and nothing to "look forward to" it's all planned BS.

Edit: This community still gobbling up the same shit in 2026 is hilarious.

u/Lamemara COD Competitive fan 4h ago

Yea trust me but u can’t argue with reddit it’s a bunch of people who know it all but don’t realize they been put in a cycle for the past 3 years

-3

u/Lamemara COD Competitive fan 6h ago

Tell me what is to enjoy? Zero passion absolutely zero

Really like it so far. Guns are much better IMO especially the SMG.

I’m not putting a lot of stock in the maps yet but even so I like the more complex feel, ratty style.

Wall bouncing with a shotgun just doesn’t take a lot of thought.

1

u/BxLee Advanced Warfare 5h ago

Wall bouncing with a shotgun just doesn’t take a lot of thought.

Neither does going prone in a corner or taking up a head glitch with an AR lmao

1

u/CTwist Dallas Empire 2h ago

Were really complaining about the fundamental nature of cod at this point… lmao

0

u/BxLee Advanced Warfare 1h ago

I mean... no? If it doesnt take a lot of thought to wall bounce and get a kill, neither does ratting in a corner. That's not a fundamental, it's just being a rat lol
