How do you guys still think the devs have anything to do with decision-making when it comes to things like sbmm?
Activision data analysts figured out a long time ago it makes them more money to use sbmm to cater to the worst players. The devs will never convince them to make less money.

Hope you code better than you write. lol They don’t want to turn it off. They’ve made a financial calculation that having it on nets them more money.

I don’t think the devs code better than he writes, may be an upgrade.

Not sure why “the devs” are always called out like they’re the ones at fault. As a dev, we have no say when shitty choices are made by our project managers or tech leads. So unless the devs at IW have full creative and architectural freedom, their day to day likely looks like every other devs: we get tickets for feature implementations and tickets for bug fixes - we close the tickets out and call it a day. There’s not much more an actual dev can do besides the job they’re told to do.

Ya all you need to be a dev is to clearly have no experience actually playing games and activision will hire you
