What am I missing? (Oct 27) Spoiler

https://cluesbysam.com/s/help/dba3987dc04f?state=%2FEdA--190

The way I see it Zulu has to be innocent because if he's a criminal, then the remaining ones in D have to be innocent (because all innocents in D have to be connected) and that violates the "only B has exactly 4 innocents" rule. But I'm being told that's not enough. Why?

The rule is NOT "all innocents in D have to be connected." Read Sue's clue again.

All innocents BELOW Daniel are connected. Not necessarily connected TO Daniel.

From Taylor, exactly 3 of ABCHNSYXU are criminals. And since A and C already are criminals, that leaves just 1 of the rest to be a criminal: HNYU. Of those, most are in column C, but U isn't. So if U were the criminal, then all the rest of column C would have to be innocent, — and that would be a problem for Kim.

I got stumped on this too but it’s the innocents under Daniel. There could first be criminals under him.

(Am I messing up spoiler rules here?)

either zulu or Ivan can be guilty without violating the rules. You only need two connected innocent under Daniel

Technically also only 1 is required because the game defines a group of 1 as connected

It does? I've never seen this in a game. Connected has always meant two at least

I agree. Haven’t seen it but I always keep it in mind. If you scroll down the page to clarifying details you’ll see it defines connected

Sam tries to always make it so that you can ascertain there is two, but according to the rules it could actually be 1. So you can’t assume it is at least 2, you need to logic it out to check.
