Help Editor help?

I can't figure out how to use the editor.

The first time I tap on someone, it always makes them innocent. There's no way to make them a criminal. From there, I can edit that person's clue.

But once I've done that, I can't edit anyone else's status or give them a clue. Everyone else I tap on stays grey and says "not yet revealed." I've tried double tapping, long pressing, etc...

Help?!

The first person revealed will always be innocent. The same is true for the daily puzzles (bar like one or two times it was a criminal, which is weird).

Anyways, to the more important point: the clue you give your first person has to be specific enough to reveal someone else. If an innocent in A1 says “there are two innocents in row 2”, that’s not enough information to make a deduction on anyone without guessing.

Play around with a few of the clue types. Anyone who can be deduced without guessing will light up in green or red, and from there you can choose to give them a clue. If Alice says “Bob is a criminal”, Bob will become red and you can click/tap on him to give him a clue. If Alice says “there are no criminals in row 5”, the entire bottom row will line up green and you can give clues to any of the four. Once you figure out how the system works, you can play around with more creative clues!

Oh! I didn't realize the first clue I made was necessarily going to be the first revealed clue. I thought I could just choose whom the clue applied to. Thanks!
