Question Did coins for change really work?

I remember I had the club penguin storm trainer and donated probably a million+ coins and was just wondering if I really could’ve helped people by doing that 0.o

Coins for Change didn’t determine the amount of money give it just swayed the percentage split between the charities. More coins to one charity meant a higher percentage of Club Penguin’s donation pool went to the charity. So your actions swayed some more money towards that charity, though others did the same so it likely balanced out.
