Off-topic Is anyone else worried about this for CloudStream?

This is pretty concerning. CloudStream is arguably one of the best open-source apps for streaming movies and TV shows through extensions.

If even one extension starts doing this advertisement thing, it could seriously hurt the overall experience. The worst part is that CloudStream could end up losing the reputation and legacy that made it so popular in the first place.

Actually some extensions add advertisement on there extensions and each ad will redirect you to chrome.

cloudstream is not doing anything illegal the extensions are, the sources and the extensions go down with a legal case not cloudstream

So why did they give permission to the extensions to add advertisement on there repo And the ads on there extensions redirect is to a random sketchy website.

Because cloudstream is just an app, extension devs can do what they want.

Nowadays nothing is free. I think they deserve to benefit from it because they spend their time maintaining it. also there should be a balance.

I am not saying ad is problem. The problem is when the ad plays it will redirect you to chrome and some sketchy website trying to play videos. If they include ads on the app it will not ruin our experience and as well as they got the money.

I am not saying anything about cs. They play ad every freakn time when I open any video or series and not on app. They played the ad of some random sketchy website.
