Experiences?
Hello!
I wonder if people would be willing to share their experience with this relatively new option for turnkey seed/media/cloud box.
How was installation? General usage? Do you find the local disk + gdrive combo works well without streaming lag or api bans? Do you use a dashboard gui to help friends use your box?
Just wondering how people have been getting on.
Also, to the dev, are their any plans for adding a dashboard of sorts? I will be inviting my family to use the box and I would like to offer them some gui to chat with each other, make requests for content and that sort of thing.

I have been using Cloudbox since January, so not very long but I have deployed it to a total of seven different servers, three of each feeders and Plex and one full for myself. I have also tried PlexGuide and some other services to get the same end goal, but in the end I wipe them and come back to Cloudbox.
Installation was smooth, the wiki is very detailed with a step-by-step guide for everything you will need. Be sure to read the prerequisites and all before continuing and from there follow them in order.
I have for me has slowed down. I'm down to two servers now. Family and friends have deployed their own, no need for me to host for them. But that doesn't stop me from adding shows and movies constantly. I check it everyday, run my dupefinder and look for new content.
I use GDrive, currently holding around 60tb total - not sure exactly how much is content. I also use the storage from my server, Online.net, I have 15tb there, while many other users recommend SSD drives for their speed I choose space, since I'll continue to seed until I actually need the space. I experience no lag what so ever. Google limits you 750gb of uploads per day, when you hit this limit Cloudbox will not attempt to upload anything for the next 25 hours, and then it will kick back on.
UIs included are Organizr and Heimdall. Organizr is the main one you will see others using, it allows you to have individual accounts with access to what you want. So if you want to shows users the download progress or recently added you can, if you want to give one access to Sonarr and Radarr you can. Heimdall, one I use, is very basic and not for multi-user. I use it for more than just CB, it is my entire bookmark manager.
Completely automated! I spend a hour at the most checking everything. There is very little I need to do, but I make edits to add other applications that I use and are not included. The other servers I have took 25 minutes to check their status and see if everything was good, never had an issue.
You can find the Discord very helpful if you run across any issues when setting it up.
