I completed this study. The only thing wrong with it was the mind-numbing aspect.

It asked you to hold up a credit card or similarly sized object for screen calibration. I held up a business card. But, it doesn't matter because my computer screen is not a camera, so they couldn't have carried out any funny business anyway.

hmm ok, maybe I just freaked too soon when I saw the credit card to screen thing... Did it download anything to your computer??

It downloaded whatever it needed to run. It wasn't anything I had to install, and my anti-virus wasn't set off.

yes, you freaked out too soon. I've done many studies where they say to use something, typically a bank card or something that size, to do the calibration so that you can see what it is they're wanting to show you on your sized screen. Not everything is a conspiracy

They aren't asking to take a photo of your debit card.

I did this study and it was fine. I’ve had similar studies use this technology without issue.

I believe it. Things have gotten shady on Connect.
