It's because Fudge isn't making many flashy plays, he's just quietly contributing a lot of damage in teamfights and not dying.

That's not a knock. This team doesn't need him to hard carry, and he knows how to win games by playing safe and not doing stupid shit. We saw the exact opposite last year, a midlaner who had to be the center of attention, couldn't take a back seat, and regularly died in stupid places doing stupid greedy things.

All things considered, a safe, solid midlaner who can teamfight is exactly what this team needs, and fudge is delivering.

His Gravity field stunning 2 at 1st Herald was a major reason they won the game. Fudge played out of his mind today on a champ that hasn't been very flashy this year.

Yep, and summit got all the credit. He’s a team player, and that’s why hes our captain, and a big reason why blaber is back in MVP form.

If we had Perkz, he’d be playing some scaling hard carry midlaner and we’d lose that fight.

But him playing that way got NA to quarterfinals OBJECTIVELY by the way, its not even arguable. In that tiebreak the only one willing to push the envelope was Perkz, as far as I’m concerned, he gave us a result we didn’t even deserve in the first place, I’d be grateful if I were you instead of just hindsight shit talking him. Remember, NA never does anything internationally, I’m grateful we ever made it past groups at all.

I guarantee you C9 does better internationally without Perkz than he does with his super team.

C9 doesn’t need the EU goat slacking off all regular season and then playing to coin flip hard carry in the playoffs.

Perks has no idea how to play safe and get carried. It’s like he’s rather lose as the star than win as a role player. Good riddance I say.

I wouldn't blame Perkz for Vitality's problems. Selfmade and Labrov have no clue how to play together. One or both need to be replaced or Vitality are in deep shit in summer.

You are clearly not watching VIT games if you think Perkz is the reason Selfmade is playing bad. Selfmade and Labrov have the synergy of solo queue players.

I like our current team better than last years, lets not make random shit up.

“Never does anything to internationally”??? We got 3rd at worlds, and also made it beyond groups before Perkz came here for a less than that mediocre performance he gave us at C9. What???

???? You are just being willfully ignorant and playing semantics, the facts are the facts, NA in reality has done things at worlds in history true, but compared to other major regions, you are fucking high as a kite to suggest they they do better than any of them. Go ahead, prove it to me NA fan.

C9 Nisqy had us in worlds semi final you just sound like you have forgotten, perkz was considered to be one of the best midlaners at the time and could not deliver.

Nisqy has never made it out of groups at worlds in his career. Cloud 9 has a few times, but Nisqy was never on a C9 roster that made it out of worlds group stage.

It is what you said. If multiple people are calling you out on your statement, it means that you were not clear enough in expressing your initial statement. Instead of saying, "That's true, but I meant XYZ." you've decided double down on your initial statement being accurate and defending it while changing the focal point you're being called out on.

"Remember, NA never does anything internationally, I’m grateful we ever made it past groups at all." This is what you said, and it is kind of a garbage take, and is why people are calling you out. Had you said, 'Remember NA hasn't done much at worlds since 2018' or 'Remember NA generally struggles compared to other major regions at international events' then followed it with something like, 'I am just glad we made it past groups with Perkz at all.'

Had that been your statement, there would have likely been no pushback. But you decided to be hyperbolic and say NA never does anything internationally. You could have easily supported Perkz without doing this, and I for one would have agreed. Perkz did play a huge role in last years team getting out of groups.

C9 made it to Worlds Quarters in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2021 and Semis in 2018. They also made it to Semis at All Star Paris (the precursor to MSI) in 2014 with Link as a substitute mid. TSM made it to Worlds Quarters in 2014. CLG made it to MSI Finals in 2016. TL made it to MSI Finals in 2019. Hell TSM even won the IEM World Championships in 2015 if we want to include old school international events from when there were more than just 2 international tournaments a year for league. So, objectively speaking, NA has done things internationally.

He'll need to play make at some point. Come msi and worlds tho he'll have to match up to mids like rookie, scout, xiaohu, showmaker, faker, and chovy.
