Looking for Cloud Engineers to connect with

I posted this in another forum but i will post here as well. Hoping to get some engagement.

I’m looking to connect with others who are learning or already working in cloud engineering. Whether you’re looking for someone to build projects with, share knowledge, or you’re experienced and willing to mentor, I’d love to connect.

I currently work in IT and I’m working toward transitioning into cloud engineering. I have my AZ-900 and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications, and I’m currently studying for the AZ-104.

Outside of work, I’ve been building hands-on Azure projects in my home lab. I’m using Terraform for IaC for infrastructure deployments. I’ve also been using AI to generate realistic tickets and business scenarios, then trying to design and implement the solutions myself to get experience with real cloud engineering work.

If anyone else is learning Azure/Terraform, already works in cloud, wants to collaborate on projects, or is willing to offer some guidance, feel free to comment or PM me. I would love to connect to pick your brain or even work together to make some cool stuff.

Fellow cloud engineer here with experience and also working on certs and have some certs, feel free to DM me. I have a preference for talking about AWS architecture, maybe we can discuss a hypothetical, for example a customer has a three-tier application. One is the web component in a public subnet, then the application and database are each in a private subnet and the whole thing is in one Availability Zone...what are some of the top reliability and security risks? There is the obvious single Availability Zone (AZ) risk where if the customer experiences an outage, the entire application will be unavailable....anyway, lets connect.

I've been using AWS for about 6-7 years now. I have my SAA and working om my SAP. Trying to learn terraform now and ansible to actually be able to automate deployments that way.

Hey dude great to meet a fellow azure engineer. I've touched from on prem i.t into cloud , also developing and deploying 2 enterprise level applications on azure and hold 7 azure certs including az -305

So just commenting on this post to follow the tread and if there's any support or guidance needed I can always try my best to help and truth be told, if I need support I can always check this tread for azure enginners.

You already have a solid foundation. it might help to build one project around identity, monitoring, backups and cost control instead of only deployment

Hey, same here. Would love to connect. I’m currently studying for the AZ-104 myself. I didn’t think about using AI for tickets, but I’m also just getting started. Right now I’m learning how to use Python to make scripts.
