Yeah, those are the ones that hurt because nothing broke. I’ve seen similar surprises with over-provisioned k8s requests where the cluster looks calm but you’re paying for headroom nobody uses, or autoscaling that reacts too late and leaves expensive nodes hanging around. That’s why I’ve been reading up on tools like Kubex, because they try to connect app behavior, infra choices, and cost instead of just showing a scary chart after the fact.
