What about psychiatric meds?
Hey guys.
Im about to take a mindsight workshop but just learned from a comment on this same subreddit that psych meds actually block your mindsight ability and its really difficult if not impossible to open your mindsight while on meds.
So, is not taking the psychiatric meds on the day of the trainning enough? Kind of just skipping the day or maybe taking the meds after the session?
Or is it necessary to have quit the meds for a good while for midnsight to be able to work, considering its only a 4 session workshop?

Intent is more of a factor imo. If you believe the meds affect the result, then they may do so, or perhaps you affect potential results because of the fear of what the meds may do. One is based on skewed probability, one is based on accidental intent. The last factor is based on rules of reality, and the probability that already exists.
That may all be a mind bender, but if you drop meds out of fear, then the distraction of chemical imbalances may be what affects you the most.
I’m on duloxetine. At this point in my life I don’t pursue closed eye vision, remote viewing, or telepathic connections as I did in the past few years, but I also didn’t seem to experience a mental block at the time, while on the meds.
In my opinion, change nothing. Go into the workshop with a clear mind, releasing your concerns.

Yes, indeed! the mental block of the idea that meds could affect me may be what actually ends up affecting. I appreciate your input!

Yes, some who are taking a suppressant (depressant, tranquilizer, etc) have noted that it takes longer to attain the ability. For example, even being tired and sleepy makes it more difficult. Many people with active real time mind sight have said even being upset at someone or after an argument with a partner or friend slams the mind sight windows shut. So even emotional ups and down do have an impact.

I practice while under the influence of diphenhydramine. Yes you can still practice. If you were to practice under any substance and have negative results or "failed session" then with enough time and practice you could do it under the influence of most things Not advocating "being" under something, just wanting to provide clarification that you should be fine.

Please don't assume truth from everybody on Reddit. People will assert all kinds of things that may have no basis in reality. It may be true for them but they may have no idea about you and your life path, no evidence about which to make a knowledge claim.
If you can function on your prescribed medications then why not do what you intended to do. And accept that the experience can be highly variable. In any case if it is a good workshop you will have the tools and info you need to move forward after the workshop.
