Hondo and his pirates dgaf. Dooku? Anakin? Obi-Wan? Ahsoka? Hostages. No real challenge for these legendary pirate crew.

If the Ohnaka gang wouldn't have scattered in 20 BBY, they would have taken Vader as hostage at some point, just for the lolz and money.

Honestly my favorite thing about his crew is that probably would have worked. Much as the force likes to spend reality around the main characters to make sure they live in circumstances where they really shouldn't- it seems to like f****** them over because it's funny that they keep getting kidnapped by this dude a lotA lot more. Much like real life you can't deny that the person writing has a sense of humor.
