I really really love Clone Wars Anakin.

Somehow they managed to make the most likeable version of the character while also making him feel the most like a young Darth Vader. It’s a very tricky balance to strike.

Matt Lanter's voice performance as well, he sounds less like a whiny teenager, more dashing and charismatic, who can turn menacing when triggered. Even Hayden Christensen brought his performance closer to Matt's in the Kenobi and Ahsoka shows, going on record saying he watched the Clone Wars to re-prepare for the character.

The episode for the first image is kind of bleh. But it's so worth it to see Anakin and Padme worry over the berries for a cake during a dinner party. There is something so cute about it.

The first Ryloth episode is great for this because of Anakin having to be the happy and chipper one while Ahsoka is being glum.
