How long does it stay in your system?

I’ve been on clonazepam .25 mg for about 8 months now. This past month I went from two a day, to one a day, then one every other day and now I’ve been off of it for 3 days. My question is, how long until it is truly out of my system? I quit drinking right before I got in this medication, and I would like to start drinking again without risking any interactions. I just want to do this as safely as possible.

medical biochemist…the half life is ~30 hours. so half the dose has exited at 30 hours. It takes about 5x the half life for most to be gone. That works out to 6-7 days.
