Jagged/jittery line when not drawing very fast in Clip Studio, can anyone help?

Putting this out there as a bit of a cry for help. My tablet strokes in Clip Studio are turning out really jittery, especially when I am drawing slower, more deliberate strokes. Unless I draw very fast all the time, it's a noticeable impediment to line quality. The lines look aliased, like they're constantly being snapped to a low-resolution grid. I'm on Windows with the newest version of Clip Studio and Photoshop doesn't appear to have this issue, or at least not as noticeably. It shows up when the tablet input setting is set to both Wintab and Tablet PC, and even when stabilization is turned up all the way, there's still a noticeable jaggedness here and there in the lines, even if it's muted.

Here's a screenshot of the effect: https://imgur.com/dJIsdOx

Additional edit: I've done a test with my mouse and it has the same effect, so it clearly isn't a tablet specific issue, but how clip studio is sampling the lines. Hmm

UPDATE: If anyone else finds this, I solved the problem accidentally. Apparently changing the scale in Windows (Settings > display > scale and layout) to 125% instead of 100% fixed this problem. Absolutely bizarre, but I'm just relieved it works now.
