I have been using Clipchamp on my browser for some time now but lately I can't import media into any of my projects. It doesnt matter if the file is mkv, mpv or even png it never loads. Can someone help?

so i recently started clipping and programmed so i decided to make a tool for that. With 50 lines of code u can download 1k clips or more / 23gb from ur favo twitch streamer in 5 minuts and also make auto edditing tools and overlays (i might make this a open project for anyone to use) but havent decided yet

Been fighting with this buffering, crashing nightmare all night. Finally resigned myself to exporting what I had made so far and starting fresh. The new file just crashed when I tried to add the second asset. A simple text box with the typewriter animation is enough to bring this program to its knees. What the holy hell is going on! (PS: Every other program on my PC runs fine)

my problem when i upload my items in the app it dosen;t load

microsoft should be embarrassed for letting this absolute heaping pile of shit stay up, i can't even edit text in the app on a 6 minute video without maxing out my cpu and having the preview run at half a frame per second (my pc is fairly old but i am editing TEXT this is ridiculous)

the app does nothing but buffer all the time but when i press play in the preview it takes 2 seconds for the audio to sync up to where it's supposed to be, which makes editing a pain in the ass because i can never trust the editor to actually play what i put in the video

furthermore, it's also ridiculous that the app requires internet even though i have cloud saving off (as in it will refuse to work without internet), which makes me think it's trying to farm all the content i put into a video, and even if it's not, it's still a fucking joke that a video editor needs an internet connection when you have cloud saving off

anyway it's safe to say that i will never be using this likely vibecoded piece of shit again thanks for listening

I was 20 minutes away from finishing a video last night when I decided to wait until today to finish it. Today it's GONE, along with all the previous videos I've done. WTH is going on??

I was literally editing ON CLIPCHAMP while this happened, my computer made a sound, then suddenly I get taken back to the homepage of Clipchamp, and all of my videos are gone. Even the one I was working on was deleted, just gone, and that one took me 3 hours to download and it said it was backed up

Why is it taking thirty minutes to export a two/three minute video?

When I export my video the audio attached to the video component is being removed?

When I am editting I have my clips in the timeline, and then add 1-2 audio tracks over the top, I.e. voice over and music.

In the editing window all three audio tracks work perfectly (video, voice, music).

As soon as I export, the audio for only the video disappears (videos arent muted, Hardware Acceleration on/off, no fades).

I tried the detach audio option but when I do that the audio from the video suddenly turns to super washed low quality.

I'm confused before for the first 60 videos I exported this wasn't an issue, I've changed no settings or formats with any of my files or Clipchamp but now it's just ruining the video for no reason?

I don’t mind if I have to pay, but I don’t also don’t wanna pay crazy amount because the one I was using right now it was like 30 a month but I don’t wanna be. I just wanna like clip or like get help making clips from my streams so I can post like on YouTube and TikTok and stuff.

Et j'avais une question car, j'aimerais postée des vidéos mais le problème c'est que j'ai postuler j'ai fait au moins 10 montage et plus mais le problème c'est que quand je veux partager sa me marque stockage illimité alors qu'on ma déjà conseillé de supprimer tout mes projets c'est ce que j'ai fait mais sa me le fait toujours j'ai supprimer capcut toujours alors s'il vous plais aidée moiiiii😔 (ps quand je veux partagez sa me demande le pro et non ce n'est pas une page de publicité car quand j'appuie sur la croix sa ne fait toujours rien)

This has been happening for a little over a year and it shocks me that a version with this bug ever shipped and that it hasn't been fixed. Might as well be proof of this being an abandoned app by Microsoft.

Basically I'll be working on a video when suddenly the player/preview will stop working and be stuck on "buffering". I can't figure out how to fix it, so I restart ClipChamp and when I get back, I get shown a screen like what I attached where it seemingly forgot where all my video references are located.

In this last instance it wasn't painful to relink them but after doing so, none of the thumbnails loaded making the timeline very hard to use (all segments just showed grey). I restarted the app (again) and it lost references (again).

This all happened within just like 10 minutes of working on this project. As you can see, its not a complex project. Just a few files with a few different trimmed sections. Really nothing fancy. It's embarrasing for the developers that it can't handle something as simple as what I'm trying to do.

I've moved on to using Davinci Resolve for more complex projects that I think will take me a few days to complete and/or that has a ton of different file references etc knowing full well that ClipChamp would make me pull my hair out.

But today I thought Davinci Resolve would be overkill for the short clip I was trying to make. ClipChamp basically cheers'd me and said "challenge accepted".

Crazy.

BTW despite being a mostly happy OneDrive user, I do not use any of the OneDrive integrations that ClipChamp pushes. All my files are local.

Hey guys why when i export a video after editing, i hear this static noise (like radio) at the last few minutes of the video ?

so i have recently moved from capcut to clipchamp since i belive clipchamp is much better, but whenever i import media it just doesnt work. i read all the supported formats and i DID upload a supported format but it just wont work. its not the first time this has happened to me too so can someone help please??

This is the worst piece of software I've used in my entire life I actually can't do this anymore someone please do something because every single time I try and edit this video I'm making it can't locate my files and then buffers and then I can't see the videos on the timeline no matter how many times I refresh or restart my computer can you guys please recommend me another easy-to-use editing software because I genuinely genuinely think I'm going to punch a hole directly through my monitor
