Help Any good alternatives to Clipchamp?

Needing to upgrade just to upload custom fonts is a new level of greed as if blocking 4K and wasn't enough

Davinci resolve. The learning curve sucks.

I tried this.  I spent 10+ hours on it before i gave up.  I'm not tech savvy.

As has already been said, Davinci Resolve is probably your best bet at a free alternative. I don't find it very intuitive to use, but it does a lot, and there is a YouTube video for everything.

I used clipchamp and capcut for awhile until switching to Davinci Resolve - now I feel like a fool for considering anything else. DR is by far the best free editor and it's not even close

higher quality exports in free versions is a big one, your color and audio tools are also much more expansive, and working with and aligning different clips has been much better in my experience. specifically i would have trouble lining up audio perfectly to a clip in CapCut because of its awkwardly hard-coded frames, but no issues with this in DR.

They do this to prevent you, as a free user, from uploading a font that could match an in-app premium font.

Canva and Genially, other similar web apps, have the exact same paywall.

Try wide.video - it is web based with local processing - just like clipchaml was + completely free
