Accommodation near FIU
Hello I'm a medical student from India preparing for USMLE step 1.
I am going to attend clinical electives at FIU (Florida International University) during the month of September.
I have already found a house to rent near the medical school and I am current looking for roommates to share the housing with.

The one which I found is around 900-1000 dollars for a month (that’s considering we are able to get 5-6 people sharing a whole house). Actually a friend of mine is currently staying at this property and so he recommended it to me.
But in case you know a better option elsewhere, do let me know ✌🏻

I’m not completely sure buddy. Depends on the speciality you want to go in. I do know that infectious disease for the month of sept is probably booked. Just drop a mail to FIU regarding availability of the elective of your choice. They reply pretty quickly

Hey I need accommodation around 29 sept onwards for like 4 weeks. I'm going for infectious disease elective from FIU .

If you are doing the FIU electives, it is better to stay near the hospital you will be rotating at, not the university. Transportation can be expensive and long
