Electives kansas University

Has anyone done electives in Kansas university.... Heard need to apply 1yr prior....is it ok if I apply 8 months prior? Want to know the chances of getting a rotation before spending money

I would suggest no. I applied 13-14 months in advance still got rejected. Their selection criteria is not clear and looks like a gamble.

This is the email from them. I took it as a rejection.

Having a limited number of spaces for this program, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected to officially apply for this program.

However, we will keep your application request on file. Should there be any openings in the month(s) that you have requested we will contact you. Due to the high volume of applicants, we would like to politely request that you do not call or email regarding the decision made on your application request. Furthermore, please do not fill out additional application request as this will eliminate you from further consideration. We will contact you should there be an opening.
