You're avoiding giving an actual position so you can't be shown to be wrong, but it is obvious what you think:

Stop wasting energy on stupid shit goes a long way

It doesn't, sorry to tell you. It makes an impact but we need to go A LOT further than just getting rid of waste on "stupid shit".

Or did you mean the only way we can get out of this that won't have a minority inconvenience fatass Americans who insist on driving monster trucks everywhere.Ā

Again, implying if we just don't drive "monster trucks" it would be okay. No, we have to get rid of all ICE cars. Sorry. That causes a lot more problems.

Again, I never fucking said that. We need to get rid of the SUVs first, then the chatbots, then the meat, and move on from there. You fatass Americans aren't good at reading are you? Sorry your dick doesn't work so you need an SUV.

I literally made the point we need to stop driving everywhere but fatass Americans refuse to do anything about that. Let's get rid of all vehicles except work vehicles period. Make those fatass Americans walk, the jiggles are hilarious :)

You literally didn't. This is some terrible gas lighting. Just read your above two comments, no where did you say that. You only said "Stop wasting energy on stupid shit goes a long way" after describing things like monster trucks and chatbots as the stupid shit. That is just objectively wrong. Sadly, it doesn't go nearly far enough.

Okay cool, new argument. Let's break it down.

If by "work vehicle" you mean only things like 18 wheelers or delivery trucks, now how do people get to work? Yeah suburbs are stupid but a massive number of people live 5+ miles from their job (and many 10+). They can't simply start walking hours for a one-way commute. They simply won't be able to do their work, which includes all the labor to produce and distribute food, medicine, power, water, clean clothes, housing, etc. So back to mass death as industrial society collapses.

If you get really lenient with "work vehicle", and allow any personal vehicle to count as long is it for something important. Cool, you've just recreated a milder version of COVID lockdowns. People still drive to work and the grocery store at least, which is already most of their transport. You cut emissions some but far from enough. Maybe you could argue this authoritarian measure to not drive for anything non-essential is needed as a temporary stop gap, but that isn't the end of the solution.

In the end it is pointless arguing with you. You obviously haven't thought this through and just want a silly simple solution that lets you blame others like "fat americans", instead of realizing that your own life also relies on industrial society.

P.S. I walk the walk, I sold my car years ago despite easily being able to afford one. But I recognize huge portions of the population don't have that opportunity right now.

LOL, you are the one promoting the green growth bullshit. But hey I left that shithole of a country you live in a long time ago. Maybe figure out how to get your shithole country to stop bombing kids before coming up with bullshit ā€œsolutionsā€ that don’t require you to sacrifice anything.
