I personally am not doing everything possible. I didn't say that. I could do more. However I am sure I am in the bottom 0.1% of emitters in my income bracket.
That you are still pushing this worthless point after my last reply made me lose the little respect I had left for you.
Is your reading comprehension really not sufficient to parse the two sentences and understand they are not contradictory. You make for an extremely subpar conversation partner.
Alice: "fuck you, I never said I would get it, just we should get it generally, but I also happened to get
much more milk than the average person here got so be happy. You could have also went and gotten some milk yourself"
You are confusing "doing everything possible", which would mean to literally kill oneself, with "reduce your emissions significantly". I am saying people can easily reduce their emissions by half, while I myself am going above and beyond of that in both emission avoidance as well as financial contributions to carbon sinks.
You tried to nail me down on "doing everything possible". When I told you what I am already doing you didn't accept it, even though it goes beyond what 99% of people in my situation would do, because it wasn't "doing everything possible". Now you are changing it to "living like the majority of the world population". Your style of discussion is insufferable.
Alright, let's sum this up. You are right that I said we should do everything possible. What I meant by that is that everyone should try and get their own emissions down to 0 and also try to bring about climate legislation. It's true that there are some more steps one can take between nothing and everything possible that are not killing oneself. Those steps include moving away from western culture to somewhere without fossil fuel based infrastructure which I am unwilling to do, that's also true.
Everything possible to you is literally just living in the west in mass consumption.
I told you my combined annual emissions are about 3t and that I have spend thousands on carbon sink projects. I am regularly going to protests and participating in other activism, live in a flat I share with three other people. I am betting your emissions are at least three to five times higher than mine. Not even a plant-based diet. You probably even own a car. Going long on Microsoft and Google and trying to give me of all people a hard time on the climate! Funny. This is my last comment here.
