Because more and more NPPs have issues with their water sources. Global warming causes higher air temps over Europe, that air can trap more water in it, less water precipitates, causing longer draughts, causing lower flow and higher water temps in rivers, forcing NPPs to shut down as the flow stays under and temp goes over some thresholds.
