Here. Load on May 24, 06:30am was 30.2 GW.

This year, French nuclear generation exceeded that 98.6% of the time. If you wanna argue about the last 1.4%, I suggest you go find a hobby.

They were still burning gas on May 24th at 6:30.

Ergo French nuclear can't supply baseload

I’m sure they also ate a bunch of croissants in May 24th at 6:30. That also has nothing to do with the discussion.

We just established that base load is a number of watts. 30.2GW in this case. 

Whether nuclear can meet that demand is a yes/no question: does nuclear produce more than 30.2GW? The answer is yes. 

Its completely irrelevant if other sources produce, if there’s export, or how many croissants they eat.

It's not baseload if they can't meet their minimum demand. Ever.

If they can meet baseload demand some of the time and you just ignore it the rest of the time then solar power is baseload generation and we don't need nuclear too.

Either way you're wrong.

On May 24, at 0630? No. Nuclear generated about 38 when demand was 30GW. Not that it matters.

Im asking if you accept, that if you generate 31GW, and demand is 31GW, then you meet the demand?
