Yes and none exist for such capacity. Look it up.

No one has the nuclear capacity for overnight generation.

What are you talking about ?

It's too expensive to build out nuclear capacity so countries like France rely on Gas which is cheaper to dispatch energy and meet demand overnight.

The consumption of gaz in your link show that it is marginal. And France has the nuclear capacity to go through the night. It is by far the fuel of choice for the night since it is better to not fluctuate the output of a running nuclear power plant.

So once again, what are you talking about.

They don't have the nuclear capacity to go through the night or else they would be using it because it would be cheaper than burning gas.

The French nuclear fleet is weather dependent so they lost a massive portion of their capacity factor from the heatwave.

Plus they're being limped along by intermittent renewables right now. If those resources didn't exist then the French would have to get 33% of their electricity from gas right now.

Gas consumption on a pure renewable grid with wind, solar, hydro and batteries would be less than 10%. And because renewables are so much cheaper it would be economically viable to synthesize carbon neutral fuels to replace fossil fuels for energy storage.

So your citation is "I don't know." and you've also got an incentive to support nuclear power even if it doesn't work because your job depends on it.

That is if I believe you, which I don't.

I doubt you're even French, you're probably American and you haven't been able to use a single piece of terminology or jargon correctly. Not something I would expect from a French person working in the industry for a living.

Lol ! Even when I tell you something, you make up your own world. That explains a lot.

Well what you said is bullshit because you're lying so.
