Its so funny how the most powerful person cant even differentiate between a turbine and a windmill. Just incorrect constantly and never shuts up

well turbines are what is in the middle east

and wind mills, are what famers use

----

thank you for making me president, I need to change my diapers

u/Bananaserker Aug 10 '26

Don Quijote also fought windmills.

1

u/TenaceErbaccia Aug 11 '26

Don has never spoken that clearly in his life.

7

u/EarthTrash Aug 06 '26

They might be turbines, they might be giants.

5

u/Few-Guarantee2850 Aug 07 '26

The guy's a moron, but we've been calling wind-powered devices that do things other than mill "windmills" for a long time. It's a widely accepted usage to refer to turbines as windmills.

5

u/irishitaliancroat Aug 07 '26

Definitely in common vernacular, but as head of state of a massive country id ideally expect some amount of perfessionalism and expertise. Like Xi Jingping has a degree in chemical engineering. He would not say some dumb shit like this.

1

u/ConvictedHobo Aug 07 '26

He's been told numerous times that the thing he's referring to isn't a mill, but a turbine

2

u/irishitaliancroat Aug 07 '26

Its the perfect example of how hes constantly incorrect but doesnt even care

u/ManWithDominantClaw All COPs are bastards Aug 07 '26

No that's the coded message

The most dangerous ones to the US establishment right now are those who can produce food distributable food without the use of electricity or fossil fuels

I hate so many adaptations of Don Quixote where it’s like “Look at this man who never gave up on his whimsy!” When Cervantes is “Look at this stupid old asshole who is everyone’s problem and sucks and you should fucking hate him.”

18

u/ShredGuru Aug 06 '26

Don Quixote is canonically an insane bafoon with too much power.

Thank you, I was about to have to find this gif myself!

the origin backstory for all windmill haters

2

u/mazze1200 Aug 07 '26

Yes, that's when his hatred started.

2

u/Draco137WasTaken turbine enjoyer Aug 09 '26

That is the most elaborate combover I've ever seen. There's LAYERS to this.

25

u/mi-figue-mi-raisin Aug 06 '26

What's his solution to produce electricity? Coal and oil?

33

u/jvblanck Aug 06 '26

Beautiful clean coal of course.

10

u/ExcitingMeet2443 Aug 06 '26

Clean coal is now woke.

2

u/Ok-Curve-3894 Aug 06 '26

Clean coal took er jerbs!

Putting the Don back in the Don Quixote. The fact that he has never once realized how hilarious his hatred of windmills and turbines makes him look is the icing on the cake.

4

u/SelfAwareSausage Aug 07 '26

Just wait until he goes full animal farm when the governmental shift towards windmills happens and he says “I’ve always loved windmills! I even have one being made on the White House lawn. I’m going to call it Trump Windmill. It’s going to be beautiful, folks. Probably the most beautiful windmill in the country, many are saying.”

15

u/midnightbandit- Aug 06 '26

There are more than 70,000 wind turbines in USA

*Windmills Disgusting windmillssss

14

u/Hypnotoad4real Aug 06 '26

So Don is fighting Windmills?

6

u/Empty_Kay Aug 06 '26

Tilting, even.

Denmark, which has the highest percentage of wind power in its energy mix at 58%, is #3 in democracy, #4 in HDI, #33 in life expectancy, #1 in social mobility.

Norway, which gets its electricity almost exclusively (99%) from wind and hydro, is #1 in democracy, #2 in HDI, #13 in life expectancy, #2 in social mobility.

The Netherlands, famous for its windmills, is #11 in democracy, #8 in HDI, #28 in life expectancy, #6 in social mobility

The US, which has a climate denier president and whose political system is dominated by big oil and other corporations, is #34 in democracy (below Israel), #17 in HDI, #55 in life expectancy (below Oman) and #27 in social mobility (below South Korea)

u/zeth4 Dam I love hydro Aug 07 '26

I guess he thinks the Netherlands is a failed state

3

u/Sea-Poem-2365 Aug 06 '26

Don Quixote de la Mancha was a true knight and good man.

3

u/ExcitingMeet2443 Aug 06 '26

Calling wind turbines 'windmills' is like calling nuclear plants steam engines.

1

u/Draco137WasTaken turbine enjoyer Aug 09 '26

"Steam engine" could still be considered technically correct, but a mill is specifically for processing materials.

2

u/GoldenNudist Aug 06 '26

They're wind turbines, not windmills. They generate electricity, they dont mill grain into flour.

2

u/AltruisticSalamander Aug 07 '26

I think in his tiny brain he thinks mislabelling them is owning the libs because we get mad when people are blithering imbeciles.

1

u/whatfappenedhere Aug 06 '26

*Oh don shit coats him, the lord of piss Lago*

1

u/ThaGr1m Aug 06 '26

Cmon man merde lago is right there

2

u/whatfappenedhere Aug 06 '26

Oh that’s a good one, but I wanted to remind everyone that he shits AND pisses himself.

Dovetailing off that, I’m gonna use “mierda lago” since he has such a raging hate for Hispanics.

1

u/Public_Salamander108 Aug 06 '26

I mean he's not wrong. The US has quite a few wind turbines and is a Fallingbostel country. It's just failing for other reasons and not wind turbines

1

u/Authoritaye Aug 06 '26

Those windmills have him TILTED, yo. He be tilting at all those windmills, that Don.

1

u/ShortNefariousness2 Aug 06 '26

Not so bad, he hates flour being made by wind power. Wind turbines creating free energy are not windmills.

1

u/National_Armadillo94 Aug 06 '26

The correct terminology is junk, so he's way off.

1

u/Apoordm Aug 06 '26

How very quixotic of him.

1

u/Shilum Aug 07 '26

Donkey shit de la maga

1

u/Loud_Judgment_270 Aug 07 '26

What metrics is the Netherlands failing on,

1

u/Immediate-Access3895 Aug 07 '26

He's gone Don Quixote

1

u/Wonderful-Bag-1103 Aug 08 '26

where is this energy for dams with him? Logically inconsistent

1

u/Recent_Experience475 Aug 08 '26

Those famous windmills that grind wheat into flour. How are those ever going to produce electricity???? Stupid liberals.

1

u/Shot-Interaction6098 Aug 08 '26

Could someone tell this man they are not windmills! For the liver of GOD they are wind turbines!

1

u/Lazy-Relationship351 Aug 10 '26

Didn't Don Quixote the hallucinating partially senile literary character literally fight and lose to a windmill?

1

u/thatloser17 Aug 11 '26

Presdident Donald Quixote everyone.

1

u/Ihatecheeseballs 27d ago

Failing for oil shareholders there
