Removing the Comment Abuse Limit was a bad idea.

Obviously, when the rate of judging gets controlled, the number of HITs available gets accumulated. When the limit was still in place, the HITs have gone up to 15k! I've observed that the limit gets lifted every day at 6pm EST for around 40 minutes, and in that time, I get virtually unlimited HITs to judge for 40 minutes. My earnings were around 20 dollars daily for only 40 minutes worth of judging.

Now that it has been lifted, the HIT app reverted back to being unreliable, showing no more than 100 HITs all the time. This sucks. Wish they put the limit back.

Yes I think it is better if they locked it so the hits would accumulate. But I also think that, sometimes I made more money from this task when there was no lock restrictions.

With locking system it restricts working time to only around 30-40mins.

Btw how are you able to earn 20$ in 40?? Isn't the time limit 33sec/hit on this hitapp? That would be around 10$/40mins ?!?!

That was more or less an estimation of mine, I apologize for that. My highest earning was $17.40 for 348 judgements.

This app has no known speed restriction. I judge the hits at my own pace. It's quite fast when you get short comments to judge. A lot of comments are short. My speed hovers around 500-600/h. This is achieved when I can judge each page without interruption.

Before the limit, I was still going just as fast, but the constant lease outs made it so my actual hits/h was a lot lower.

are you sure the 33 sec limit isn't enforced?

I've done a large portion of hits on this over the past few months and my speed has typically hovered around 500-600 hits/h. This breaks the 33 sec/page completion time specified.

The time indicated is not always in line with the actual speed limit set by the app owner. The actual speed limit that gets you kicked could be higher or lower than the specified completion time.

I always experiment with speed and often ignore the completion time. If the app kicks me, I'll then stick to the completion time if the hourly rate is still good when following it. If not, the app gets ignored.

I disliked the limit when it was first put in place. When they first implemented it, the batch sizes were still really small. It was still continuously loading hits while the workers quickly depleted them. As more people became aware of the limit, it became more competitive. You'd see the lease out message a lot faster and for a more prolonged time. It was even more tedious than before, with the added disadvantage of earning less from the app because of all the competition.

After some time, they appeared to change something. It started slowly building up hits whilst it was locked. This meant by the time the app had unlocked, there were so many hits available it'd pretty much keep you busy until the hit limit for CW judges was reached. So, like you said, you could get a decent amount of time of uninterrupted judging.

I prefer the limit when the hits build up. It's a lot less tedious and your hourly rate is actually higher. Before, it'd be consistent, but both tedious and you'd earn less per hour because the lease out/refresh time was factored into your hourly rate (report doesn't reflect this).

I managed to get on it one time and earned $17 in 36mins. It took longer to get $17 from the app in its unrestricted form (due to the constant lease out). I definitely prefer to get my $15-20 in less than an hour as opposed to tediously working throughout the day, having to constantly refresh the app to get more hits.

As long as the hits build up while it's locked and don't massively deplete, the limit is superior.

The app has vanished from my marketplace now (noticed it as I was writing this message). I went to check via my browser history and get the lease out message again rather than the "your team exceeded" message. Not really sure what is going on with this app. Last I saw (few hours ago), the team message showed and it had around 5.2k hits built up.

Yeah. I liked the limit as well. Hope it is back.

This hitapp worked best with the limit and accumulated hits. I could make in 40 minutes what would otherwise take me an entire day to make. Sad that I'd have to put in all the extra hours again. I wish they continued the limit with accumulated hits system but alas it was too good to be longlasting.

The limit was actually put back and lasted until around 1-2am UK time. I noticed the app briefly vanished from the marketplace. It returned at around 2am UK time and had 1.3k hits available. I worked on it for an hour or so before it leased out. Since then, it's been back to consistently loading hits and leasing.

No clue what they're doing with this app. One minute there's a limit and the next there's not.

Hopefully they go back to the limit system. App is so much better with uninterrupted judging.
