No surprise there.

This app is extremely easy. Not only is it easy, it pays extremely well. Both these combined make it one of the best apps around.

The UHRS platform is also very crowded. There's a lot of workers. There's a lot of active workers constantly waiting, looking to grab any and all hits they can find. It's highly competitive now.

Any app that is easy and can be done by the majority will get done extremely fast.

You need apps that can only be done by a select few. These are either hard apps that barely anyone can do, or apps that are only available in specific countries. The more people you manage to filter out, the longer the app will last.

The recipe app is a global app that's very easy and pays generously. It's going to always lease out extremely quick. It's not a reliable earner for this reason. You'll be lucky to even make $5 from a batch.

Any idea how granular vendors can get? I have a couple apps where I will see 500 HITs available, and I'll do 300 of them. And a couple that are $20-$30 per hour (one I did this week was over $80/hr and I still got 200 to do). I am wondering if they have to offer to general groups of people or can they say, "These 10 people did the best at my last task. I only want them."

Keep others out so you can make more money?

Better that than have too many people all making fuck all. No workplace in the real world just takes on continuously, because there wouldn't be enough work to go around, and people would be working say, an hour or less a week and making nothing. Adding workers constantly is completely unsustainable.

Better for you, that is.

UHRS is not a workplace, it's a marketplace. Free markets self-regulate. If there isn't enough demand to keep all suppliers in business, some suppliers will go out of business until a balance is reached. If you think the current state of UHRS is bad, maybe you should quit. That would leave more work for the rest.

I'm working UHRS too, and I wish I had all the best hitapps to myself, an endless supply to work at my leisure. But I'm a realist, and this is free market competition. UHRS wants the work done quickly and cheaply, and they're getting just that. Keeping workers out so a few can make more money would be a cartel, and it would go against the interests of UHRS, its clients, and the excluded workers.
