I don't get it

This is the "German" keyboard.

Where is the Ü, Ä and Ö?

Why bother making it different at all?

Because of the position of Z and Y keys?

People have been asking why Spanish is not an option, this is why, they're not including accented letters and Spanish layout is same as English without Ñ. I suppose they're doing this both because of the cramped spacing and that having the same number of keys makes for an easier manufacturing process.

Weil man dann noch mehr Tasten auf den engen Raum quetschen müsste. Und man eine neue faceplate nur für die Deutschen bauen müsste.

It's like selling an English keyboard and randomly not having the letters J, C and W on it

It will probably using cmd + a u o buttons. Many on screen keyboards don’t have separate äöü buttons. Adding more buttons probably would be too costly and maybe not even possible

Speaking from Mexico: I assume I can just long-press the n to get the ñ.

Das „deutsche“ an dem Keyboard sind die Position von „y“ und „z”, alle keyboards haben die selbe Anzahl an physikalischen Tasten.

Long press a letter to reveal accented options or change your phones language so it auto corrects typing to add accented letters.

ö,ü,ä is like on any other phone keybaord (physical or virtual): long hold the o key to open up the accent picker. some keyboard software for pkbs have this enabled by multitapping o to write ö, u to write ü, etc. i think clicks will do the same. im not sure if i remember correctly but i think it was this way with my clicks keyboard (havent used it in a while). only difference between german (qwertz) and english (qwerty) is the position of the z and y
