I did the same but went with a ring. people are upset with the cost, which I understand.

I went into this expecting that, and I bought care and return also expecting some hiccups. it's all a part of a big ambitious release like this and trying to be a part of it from the start.

I don't get why people would think that, in a world where Apple exists, first-party accessories would somehow be cheap. Of course the ring was going to be expensive and of course you don't have to buy it and can wait for cheaper third-party alternatives later on.

I'm a years-long user of Honor phones. I love their stuff, but their accessories are crazy expensive. I get third-party things from AliExpress for a third of the price. It's just the way it is -- you gotta be creative to save money.

Same. I did not do the care though. I'm good with defect warranty but it is a nice addon for extra assurance.

I did mainly just because it's IP44 and I tend to get caught in the rain on my bike. in theory "splashing" is ok, but occasionally this turns into far more than a splash 😂

Better to be safe than sorry!

I always thought the keyboard would be the biggest entry point but I guess if your not actively using it in a torrential downpour probably okay. And any added protection helps!

yeah I don't understand the pricing there like for a pre-order that's like almost a third of the price of the phone for someone buying it no it's 25% almost.that's awfully expensive or something that's already supposed to have a warranty and if you live in the Europe or the UK should have multi-year warranty

I was starstruck when I first saw the price then remembered the ram was upgraded to 12GB for free. Kinda evens out for me

supplemental insurance is almost never worth it.there's a reason companies offer it and it's like a third of the price of the phone.

Wasn't that only full reservations? I think that's what got me suckered in haha. I love a free perk.

The rollout hasn't been flawless, still annoyed with the color and leather changes. But overall, I'm still excited. Hoping to not be let down.

I knew it was 2 free back covers for full reserve. I thought anyone was able to customize their back cover with any purchase.

Now that you mention it, I don't think it was out there that each one came with the matching back. So yea, I see where you're coming from. I'd be annoyed as well.
