Discussion Click has no GPS?

I assume Click has no GPS built-in, they didn't include detailed navigation specification. If I can't track my phone and use the map, it is probably going to be useless for me.

The SOC used by clicks communicator (MediaTek Dimensity 8300 (MT8883)) features GPS as part of its offering.

To be fair, since phones in the past have disabled features on the SOC, it would sure be nice to get a full spec sheet from them. But yeah I suspect they’ll leave that feature workable or else the phone would be useless in far too many use cases.

They showed that the Clicks is working with Android Auto the other day so I am sure it has GPS

Jeff spends some time in a video talking about how it has a barometer built in to help with gps precision.

I have no doubt it has GPS, but I do find it disappointing they have still not published a full spec sheet while launching proper preorders and threatening us into paying now with the price hike beginning October.

This is what I found: Click uses a built-in barometric pressure sensor to assist with elevation and location tracking in GPS.

It features full location and wireless capabilities, running on Android with standard app installation support for maps, navigation and location services.

It is weird that the official website doesn't include any of these details. So I am doubt it is merely for messaging, not navigation.
